Why does preschool animation have a monopoly on cute? Are there any adorable cartoons that are aimed at a slightly older audience?
I like cute things, dammit, but I don't want my intelligence insulted at the same time.
>>88566024
Anon, if you want porn of this characters just go ask on /Trash/
>>88566024
What's the name?
>>88566024
There is too much cute in the Internet culture.
We need LESS cute, not more.
>>88566706
You fucking lie, memeposter.
>>88566713
I typed this with one hand
>>88566204
Ibinou.
>>88566024
I find appeal in cute characters in "serious" situations but I feel like whenever it's done it's either for children or for shock value. I just like cute.
I feel like things typically praised for this sort of style (Like happy tree friends) takes it much too far to be appealing.

>that fox's face
>>88566892
A good 50% of furry comics will be 25% up your alley. As long as you can get over the label "furry".
>>88566024
kids don't want to watch something cute
>>88566985
As someone who was a kid once, I can attest.
>>88566923
Furries have the possibility of being cute, but I feel like a lot of those comics are taking more from how sexy they can make the characters than really showcasing a story...
I do read "Bittersweet Candy Bowl" and "Dreaming of Utopia" (if that counts) but I have a hard time getting into furry comics when most of them are closer to Ryugou, Twokinds and Las Lindas in content.
I miss a comic called "Cheap Thrills," which wasn't cute at all, but was a Furry comic that took itself seriously as a story.

It's like fanfiction: only 10% is good. Or like mushrooms: you need to know where in the forest to look. You have to know places.
Try Commander Kitty (great writing and dialogue). Or (tumblr link incoming) this:
http://too-much-caffeine-comics.tumblr.com/page/42
Also, Bittersweet Candybown is objectively garbage. Get some standards.
>>88567273
I'll check it out.
Also: Can't just drop BCB after 7 years of it, I'm in too deep.
>>88567174
I know what you mean. I seriously avoid wish-fulfillment stories of any kind, especially those that fulfill MY wishes, but a lot of furry stories seem to fit my wishes, so it doesn't bother me too much.
Are you the anon from the >go gay for thread?
>>88567346
Oh well, I pray for your sanity.
>>88567381
Not the anon from the go gay for thread. I don't mind wish fulfillment if it isn't the sole reason the comic exists, but usually that's the case.
I just want, say, redwall style media. The characters are cute mice and whatnot, but the stories are taken seriously- or about as seriously as children's books are taken. I guess I don't have a real example for what i'm thinking of in the context of the topic, seeing as it's not very common.
>>88567617
Try Mouse Guard. It's epic, and has BLOOD AND VIOLENCE!!!!!!!! >:D
>>88567617
I know exactly what you mean. Funny Animals usually are trying to look funny rather than cute. I know it's the big thing now and has a reputation of sorts, but I liked Zootopia for the reasons you're describing. They aren't cute in the same way as your examples, though.

>>88567738
Yes, that HERETICAL show too.
>>88567738
That one's for children, though
>>88567738
Hey, I totally forgot about that. I came into this thread to say it, too.
Cutes of the fox and Owl when?
>>88568792
Your joke is subtle, but I get it.
>>88566781
>Ibinou
where can i find this show?
>>88566024
how can something be cute and for adults
>>88568999
Simple. You create it.
>>88568858
No really, I just want new cute pics.
>>88566024
>Are there any adorable cartoons that are aimed at a slightly older audience?anime
>>88567617
The comic I'm hoping to start sometime soon does just that. But threads like these always discourage me. ._.
>>88569606
do it
>>88569606
Consider investing in some sort of digital art tablet
>>88570114
I sketch all my drawings with pencil and paper before uploading them to my computer before digitalizing.
Honestly, I don't like tablets. I find them cumbersome to work with - if they work at all.
>>88570214
the one in the wizard hat is cute as balls
>>88569606
Just look over every pose, and redraw any part that seems off to you under a critical eye.
Polish your turds before you shit them out.
>>88570252
I'm fully aware of this. I fix everything in digitalization. The sketches are sloppy, but they're a way better base than anything I could give myself trying to "sketch" with a goddamn mouse.
>>88570214
They take some getting used to, but they seriously streamline the whole process once you know how to use them. When I switched over as a teenager I was frustrated for weeks before getting the hang of it- at which point I began to improve drastically.
>>88570394
You don't draw with a mouse. Ever.
I meant polish your sketches before inking. Quality starts at the beginning, not the end.
When did this turn into /ic/?
>>88569606
At least use a ruler for the panels
>>88566985
True.
They rather watch something gross
But not TOO gross, or you get Mega Babies
>>88570651
>Quality starts at the beginning, not the end.
This is absolutely the wrong way to think about art.
>>88573775
You can believe whatever you want.
>>88573775
It is absolutely the right way to think about art.
Just not in the way the guy you're replying to is interpreting it.
>>88573965
I wasn't interpreting, more like.......... un.......... terpreting?
Yes, you may start with a piece of crap. And you usually do. But you look at it, see what's wrong, and refine the sketch until it looks great. THEN you ink and colour.
To put it into words whichdumbanons could understand, quality starts at the end of the beginning.
>>88574025
Yes, the end result is a good looking image.
But if nobody's going to see the sketch, who cares what it looks like if the final product looks good?
>>88574043
>who cares what it looks like
You.
>>88574070
Why would I care if it looks like shit if I can make it look 100x better during the contour process?
I mean, I would care a lot more if the sketches themselves were the drawing, but they're not.

>>88566024
Why is the female fox holding her mouth open like that?
>>88576162
She's mischievous and tries to photobomb his nature photography whenever she can.
>>88566056
>>88566706
Never change /co/.
>>88576151
is the show actually out?
Westerners cannot do cute and serious themes correctly at all.
>>88570214
Then you have either bought a really cheap one or havent put much time into learning it.The hand eye coordination can feel awful at first but give a few weeks and you should notice some results.Cheapest I recommend is little under 200 or 300 bucks
>>88578338
You can get a way better tablet for 80.
>>88566024
i want to fuck that fox
>>88567692
>>88567692
OP dont ignore this, he is right
I think there's a severe lack of cute in ADULTS ONLY content.
Cute lewd is absolutely INCREDIBLE.

>>88576162

>>88581281
