Why does /co/ like this and Lumberjanes? I just don't see the appeal.

>/co/ likes Lumberjanes
that's news to me?
>>88528732
I've only heard /co/ pan Lumberjanes before

Giant Days continues on from Scary Go Round, a quality web comic.Even if it does so with Dark Esther having chosen the path of the slut, leaving The Boy to future Equine Damnation
Lumberjanes I haven't given any interest to whatsoever and will continue doing so.

I liked Scary Go Round and John Allison's other stuff, so I'll give it a chance. Not so sure about Lumberjanes, it seems like it has the kind of themes that /co/ and most of 4chan in general likes to complain about. I'd like to be proven wrong on that assessment.

Today's update has him back as a human.
Seriously, comparing Giant Days and Lumberjanes is stupid as fuck. Lumberjanes is a shit comic with poor storytelling and art that makes Adventure Time look like the Mona Lisa. Giant Days is entertaining if you can look past the occasional "millenial" character design, which really doesn't take away from the story.
It's fun, and if you don't like fun, then you can go.

I don't think anybody was comparing them at all.
where the fuck does it show that the boy was scientist, i must have missed that in this asshole's 30+ different alternating criss-cross timeline comics

Putting them together on the same tier, then. 'Why does /co/ like this and Lumberjanes?" is a dumb question, because Giant Days is actually pretty fun, and Lumberjanes is total trash.

I like giant days but then again I'm hipster trash
Giant Days is alright.
Esther's a bit too much of a cartoon now, I think. I don't like her as much as I did in SGR, and Daisy is annoying, as all so quirky;) characters are.
I like Susan and her bf, though.
They are more nuanced comics than capeshit. They are about personal drama and character growth, and are based around character interaction.
