Just focus on making good comics rather than making good comics for girls. Instead of trying to write girl characters, just write characters that happen to be female. That's it. Like, imagine if they did a miniseries about a genderswapped version of the DCU. How would you write Batwoman? Would you write her the same as Batman or would you write her as some girlier version of the Caped Crusader?
