It's really fuck up when Gumball has more constant story telling and world building than a show that hypes up Armageddon to fix/band aid it in 5 minutes and never talk about it again.

Some kind of dystopian future where predators had to wear shock collars. It was changed into what we got partially because the directors thought the movie was too bleak for its own good, and partially because they just couldn't come up with a decent story to tell in that setting. Every incarnation of the script supposedly just milled around aimlessly between key scenes.

It's been 25 episodes since it happen. Almost all of it was filler. Half were either exclusively humans or damn close to it. Teen Titans go references past events better than that.

I can understand /co/ turning against Adventure Time at some point, but as someone who binged every single episode 2 months ago I for the love of me can't understand the hatred for this show on here. Was there something promised to you guys or something? I need insight.

Art and animation is shitty
Most characters are bland and whatever characters aren't bland are annoying
The show is full of filler which makes it as bland and boring as the characters in it
None of the humans act like real people and are mostly braindead which makes it frustrating when they don't react logically
Characters cry so much that it's gotten annoying
Characters are hardly called out on their bullshit

Just a lot of factors that make it an overall hateable show.

It got too full of itself and deviated from the core concepts of the show shortly after Pen, its creator, left production
Since there was no real leader running the show after that, the plot lines and cohesion between episodes, along with many of the main cast's personalities got muddied up and out of sync
Sometime after season 3 or 4, the show tried to add in a bunch of story arcs to add lore and plot to the show, all of whom either never got returned to or almost immediately had its implications reversed because "muh fans"

Like a rock band from the 80's it had a great start, but at some point passion and direction was given up for money and fame

The Ben 10 reboot is probably that. Something nobody wanted that turned out worse than anyone expected. Or maybe that's the PPG reboot. There was also the Harvey Beaks thing with Nick being asses and shooting themselves in the foot only for the creator to shoot himself in the foot to shoot Nick in its other foot. I'd say so, OP. The sheer amount of hiatuses, filler, and poor execution of certain story arcs (The Cluster, Lapis, and Jasper) are a great indication of that. I still love the show, but god damn. I think I'd prefer it become a comic at this point if it meant there'd be no more filler or hiatuses just so we can move the damn story along.
