Same. I don't know why, I always thought, until after Here's Negan, Negan didn't orginate from Atlanta or wherever the hell they are at now in the comics and he moved to Georgia while gradually learning to adapt their intonation.

I mean, I like JDM's portrayal of Negan, he give him a cool and baritone drawl whenever he talk, however, I thought he would've made his voice reverberate and echo as if he were shouting, coz the Negan in my head sound loud and don't give a hell if a walker or human hear him.

Negan sounds like a 30-40s Chad Thundercock. Probably more Nathan Fillon or Patrick Warburton-esque. Hmmm. Patrick Warburton works physically, too.

I just gave him the generic non-voice with an American accent. He's a fun character but he's not that fleshed out. Unlike with Cassidy and Jesse from Preacher, or any Ennis character really, with Kirkman's Walking Dead characters, everyone sounds exactly the same in my head first to last (this includes the mental voice and their vocabulary and syntax), except maybe Beta.

I guess it's the cost of having to write a shit-ton of characters, 90% of which will die off soon anyways. Hell I didn't even recognize the character at the end of #161 until I looked them up on the TWD wikia.
