Who is the closest to being Marvel's "Bane"? I'm thinking either Venom or Sabretooth

>Flash Venom as CIA
I would watch it

Forget about that, who is the closest to being Marvel's Doctor Pavel? Who's closest to being Masketta Man?

I can't help but feel like you don't know Bane if you think Venom or Sabertooth would be similar.
Hell I ain't a marvelfag and know bare minimum for venom and sabretooth
But even I know how different they are from Bane.

I'm not a DC fag and know a bare minimum for Bane
What I do know is
>enemy of posterboy
>known for being bigger than them
>known for being stronger than them
>known for being something of a rival
In this respect, I think Sabertooth or Venom makes sense

Black Tarantula
Crossbones, duh.

Kraven the Hunter makes the most sense to me. Bane is both very strong, and very smart, and, at least for a while, had a single-minded obsession with taking down Bats. Kraven's schtick was similar; a guy who could go toe-to-toe with Spidey, who also had a sharp tactical mind and an overpowering grudge.

Hmmm, very good point on the inttelect thing I hadn't considered that, but on the flipside isn't Bane's most known thing being able to physically over power and "break" the bat? Spidey could prob kill Kraven with a hard flick if he wasn't holding back

Bane is stronger than Bats, but so are a lot of his villains, that's just all people remember because of that one page in Knightfall. The reason Bane is sych a good villain is because he was able to maneuver Bats into that situation in the first place. Same with Kraven, who has gotten in some good licks on Spidey in the past, but is a good foil because he can strategize around Spidey's strengths and maneuver him into a position where he's vulnerable.

Not him

>big guy
>master strategist/tactician
>patient
>wore down their archenemy with plan after plan until they could take them out themselves
Sounds KRaveny.
Bane?
