They are all composed of various influences and eaelier works the author is familiar with.
Every myth is full of tropes, ideas and characters common to a culture or group of writers in particular.
Few people have a lot of ideas you cannot reduce to a new spin on an existing idea.
It is simply how human creativity works. You just don't see most influences and ideas behind your media.
SU just really loves to pay hommage to their influences and rub them into the narrative.
Plagiarism is when you take someone's script or designs, not a general idea or a look.
