Yeah, I know that DM was based off of him, but that last arc is still stupid and poorly written and largely OOC and disconnected from everything else and it came years after Watchmen, clearly trying to piggyback off of a more Doctor Manhattan-ish version of Captain Atom.

So trying to base his nu52 self on it is a dumb idea.

And Captain Atom is near kryptonian levels of strong and durable. Firestorm is normal human strength etc.
