But Spider-Man is already like 55 years old a character and he's gonna run eventually out of flesh for his failed newer incarnations to be fed with.
What then? When the Spider-Man IP does no longer draw the crowds in the movies and the games and the comics, they'll have to have an original.
And they can't do that. Not because people don't support original ideas but because Marvel's house of ideas is completely empty.
