So WildStorm is coming back
Let's read the last time its signature book was really on the ball and great.
This is WildCats Vol 2 and 3
Come Along.
There gonna be Moore? cause i'm not sticking around for joe casey
The first 7 issues of Vol 2 are really meh and unrelated to what follows
>>88403910
This is Joe Casey through and through Moore's stuff was earlier.
>>88403926
ahhhh
i'll stick around for a lil phillips
>>88403997
The art is great throughout this stretch of issues and I find this to be focused Casey
Phillips does pretty good crackle
>>88403904
Casey killed off mai waifu in an off-panel scene in some forgettable, throwaway annual. Fuck him.
>>88404552
Who?
>>88403904
Did someone say wildcats?

It's such a simple thing, bunches of circles attached to each other. But it look so fucking cool.
>>88404724
So good. Are you going to do volume 3?
>>88405950
Yeah Vol 3 is mostly so so good.
A lot of people rightfully give Authority credit for the Big Superhero stuff
This is the book I would point to for the transformation of the Superhero comic into something modern outside the obvious stuff (like Fraction stealing all of Vol 3 for his Iron Man)
>>88406000
isn't that cause Authority was popular?
>>88403910
Casey's run was great, but Moore's run was superior, in my estimation/memory. haven't read either in a long while, though. hope it lives up to what i remember.
>>88406069
As popular as anything was in the lat 90s early 00s in Comics
>>88406089
Casey built on a lot of plot points and put the book back on track. And then nothing
>>88406162
I would love to read a story about what happened at the end of Volume 3
The real sad funny thing is the 1 issues of Volume 4 that exists.
>>88406189
Also, the Morrison authority that never happened
Also not that hopeful about whatever is planning for 2017
>>88406000
Also, fraction is mediocre and he just apes better authors. Seriously, hopeless is on the same tier as him
>>88406274
Ellis is in charge. It will be good for six issues
>>88406353
Less convinced of that these days also 6 is very generous
>>88406373
How much Karnak did he do

Olympia
>>88404754
Poor Hadrian.
>>88406089
I thought most considered Casey's run the best Wildcats run.
WildCats never chose this way
>>88410170
i guess i don't really speak for most people/readers then. it's really apples and oranges. while Moore's work on the book isn't his best stuff, i'd say Casey's is. maybe i simply prefer Moore's style, dialogue, and plotting. Casey's run did have better artwork, i'd admit. both are stellar runs and I don't think Wildcats has ever reached these heights again.
