Kinda looks like with the official intro changes (not the guest animated ones) that use flash, their budget isn't allowing them to normally animate a long panning shot like in the original intro. They have to use flash. That's alright, but it looks a little too smooth for me, like everything's rubbery, especially when things turn or the camera goes over them and they're 3D looking. It all looks like rubber.

I'm still fine with it, and it looks pretty.

I'm watching the Wake Up / Escape from the Citadel special and I'm noticing a heavy bunch of references to the ocean.

First in the Season 5 finale Finn learns his dad is alive... while in the ocean.

Then Finn still has the seaweed on him in his bed in the premiere, and he also says "Maybe it's best to not rock the boat". That sort of reminds me of the boat story from The Visitor, where it did get rocked.

Then Shelby's GF calls the Pony he wished for "Speedboat".

Has anyone drew these connections before hand? Now we're dealing with Islands, going on the ocean, which if he never got over his fear of them in the Bucket List finale, he wouldn't be alright doing.

Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I can't see that happening. They've been together throughout the whole series, and Jesse's idea to have Jake cheat on Lady with Samantha got rejected, so it doesn't seem likely to me that they'd have the two of them break up now. There were probably concerns that Jake getting married and moving out would change the show too much. I think it'll happen close to the end of the series.

Marceline looks a little flesh colored in the opening, probably nothing but still an art error maybe.

I think most people would agree that since Breezy there hasn't been an episode as bad as it.

Rest of season 6 is a bit of a mixed bag but still lots of good in it, and season 7 was a good sized step up.
I feel like it's worth it if you were still liking the show at/before Breezy. And the knowledge that Finn's arm hasn't been entirely forgotten won't make you as pissed as people who watched season 6 live.

A lot of people fall into one of three categories

1. They don't have a lot of romantic experience themselves, and are only really familiar with the typical hollywood storybook version of events

2. They partially self-insert as Finn, at least on some level, and feel cucked when things don't go romantically well for Finn, and want him to end up with their waifu

3. Got into the show, as an adult, when in started, based on it's original premise. The show grew up over time, and for the people who were already adults and liked the show for what it was when it was about a 12 year old, don't like the show dealing with complex, mature themes like empty relationships, or relationships period outside of a very fairytale "rescue the princess" thing but with a quirky twist. I'm not calling all these people manchildren, but there are certainly a lot of manchildren amongst them. Some are perfectly functional adults who just aren't interested in what the the show became in later seasons, as opposed to the earlier childishness. Some of them.
