The dream sequences are great, especially this first one.

It's clear enough that readers know what it's prophesizing, but also it's vague enough that Robert would reasonably assume it's just how the day's events have filtered to his brain.

Moore actually did his homework, admitted it to. and said that he now had more respect for Lovecraft as a writer and the techniques he used to create atmosphere and tension.
Both of which were missing from Courtyard and Neonomicon.

Back! I've never actually read the Courtyard before, so that should be interesting.
