>Plus4chan thread
http://boards.plus4chan.net/coc/t52034.html
>>
I knew something was missing in the catalog.

Anyway, in the last thread the idea of a big clash before CN City came up, with Rex and Aunt May dueling. Who else should participate in the brawl?
>>
OK, so now we have a thread again.

Another thread in a long long longlonglonglong long line of threads.

We're in part 7, a part you were excited about 7 months ago.

We need to begin writing things out.

Oh, I thought long and hard about if making this thread again would be worth it; turn out is so low now, the holidays are here and not going away for another few weeks, I have my own busy time to attend to as well.

But, and this is important, I was made aware of something. Something I didn't see coming nor did I think was possible. It has inspired me to continue on this dumbest of ever increasingly dumb /co/ projects of ours.

Yes, you know it well too.

FIST OF THE bOrf STAR UPDATED
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOeCVoDx23M

We don't have any reason not to pick up our feet and throw them into the deep end once more with trying to get this idiocy rolling again.

I apologies for nothing and make no excuses.
>>
>>88319944
What other stand users do we have available to us... Sam and Max could be there.

Navis would probably be near the middle of the front pack.

We could take that opportunity to have Navis and Cybersix fight since they both have big cat stands.
>>
>>88320115
>We could take that opportunity to have Navis and Cybersix fight since they both have big cat stands
yeah, that was an old idea I wanted to use.

We also have Goofy, the Wizard, Jane, Tempo and Mojo Jojo available, there is also a couple of racers without Stands in the list that could get caught in the crossfire of stand users
>>
>>88320557
It's a good opportunity for Pym and Hex to see really weird shit they can't understand and stay the fuck away from it.

Tempo is Quakewoman, right? It'd be as good a time as any to establish her.
>>
>>88321036
>Tempo is Quakewoman, right?
yep, the same. Originally she was going to be a foil with Crazy Jane, but their Stands would get along
>>
>>88321455
The clash before CN City is also a good place to establish Jane's stand, if not sooner.

Actually, we could establish her stand in the build up to the Aberdale checkpoint. I imagine there's some bottle necking right before each checkpoint as racers begin to converge.
>>

Video_ (78).webm
1MB, 880x660px
sad.
>>
>>88321550
I think the racers are less spread in the first two checkpoints due to the shorter distance and straightforward path. In the route to CN City is when they spread in several groups looking for easier paths and then converge when they approach the checkpoint
>>
>>88322290
Well they do cross a desert on the way to checkpoint 2, plenty of opportunity there for getting turned around. Some racers could try to trick others into thinking they're going the wrong way in the desert.
>>
>>88322703
are there any racers that are retired on their way to the second checkpoint?
>>
>>88323350
There should be some who don't make it to the next checkpoint for most of the legs of the race and also those who drop out after getting to each checkpoint since it's too much for them to handle or their injuries are too severe to continue.

As for who those racers are, any suggestions?
>>
>>88323404
there is a guy called Krosh listed in the doc that supposedly is retired early on in the race, Spike Witwicky also appears as a minor racer and Mr. Garrison riding IT has been mentioned a couple of times.
>>
>>88324065
I don't know who the first two you mentioned are.

How would we make them look like fully developed characters before killing them off or retiring them? Or are they just going to be fully int the background?
>>
>>88324821
the first one is from a russian cartoon I think, the other is from transformers g1. They will probably play small roles like Gaucho or Dot Han in SBR

>>
>>88325336
I know, right?

>>88325100
Where do they make their exits? We should come up with or pick which racers are not making it past phase 1.

-Dan Backslide didn't make it to checkpoint 1 in time.
-Shocker got captured and arrested
-The Beetles decided to drop out of the race on the way to checkpoint 3
-The Chameleon is a racer, he broke the rules of no attacking other racers at the checkpoints, but got around that because of his disguises and hiring Watt, he still failed to board the Iron Vulture to phase 2 and was disqualified.

Which other racers don't make it past phase 1?
>>
Oh, and I guess it's kind of neat how Watt, the scientist behind the electric era of Chane's Strickland, is defeated by exploding pillar propane.

That just happened unintentionally.
>>
>>88325833
Spongebob bites the dust somewhere in the desert thanks to Goofy and there at least one background racer retired when the Golden Gate Bridge is destroyed

Wouldn't all this go smoother if we had a Discord to bounce ideas in rather than these slow-ass threads?
>>
>>88329345
No, it wouldn't.
I've told you before: there's no way to keep track of a discord discussion. Things would get lost and those of us who have been involved with this project who don't use discord wouldn't know what the fuck is going on.

It also prevents anons from calling out bullshit.

It'd also cause there to be even fewer people participating since not everyone uses discord or even wants to use discord.

At least with a thread there's a way to view the thread when it's over, process and collect all the stuff that was agreed upon, and condense all of that into the doc.
>>
speaking of the doc, was it updated? I only updated the stand doc

are we going to give additional powers to Hex Stand like Tusk's acts?

>Make a point to show Shocker being a smug asshole and rude to the locals. He treats anyone who he believes can’t take him in a fight like this.
what if he becomes the latest person that mangles Joshua?
>>
>>88332424
What more could possibly be done to that man?
Isn't he paralyzed from the legs down now?

I think Pym's stand is the one that's going to evolve the most.
Pym gets a stand from a jawbreaker, then absorbs a corpse part in Paris which gives his stand additional abilities.
Hex gets a stand from a corpse part he absorbed before they arrive in Spain.

Also, for Shocker's stand, are we going with it looking like a small dog that lets him swap places with anything he's touched that is within 50m of his person?
>>
>>88332617
>Isn't he paralyzed from the legs down now?
well, he still has the other half for crippling, or could end up like Plucky and join the vegetables aisle
>>
>>88333476

>>
>>88329470

I didn't know this was suggested before, I'm not who you think I am.

But those are fair points, was just trying to come up with a way to speed things up a bit somehow...
>>
>>88335072
It's been suggested at least 3 times now.

Past experience tells that anytime a /co/ project like this is taken to a different site, all anonymous contributions to it will cease.
Anons just don't go to other sites to follow projects.

>I think Pym's stand is the one that's going to evolve the most
first he can enlarge insects, then he gain the ability to shrink to the size of an ant (I think), anything else?
>>
>>88339479
Worst I see Shocker doing to some random guy is insulting him and maybe slamming a door in his face or refusing to tip him for a service.

>>88341066
I was thinking they'd be those robots who were the foster parents to that orphan in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. I don't have any pics of them though.

>>88343111
Does he get the shrinking/enlarging powers because of his fascination with the Varrick capsule, or does his power let him tame insects?
>>
>>88343833
Yeah, his fascination with resizing stuff started after getting the capsule. He got the ability to shrink himself after obtaining the Hero's ribcage that was somehow embed inside the grail.
>does his power let him tame insects?
Right now he uses them to pull his makeshift chariot, so there is a degree of control exerted on them, but I don't know if it comes from his Stand, some kind of tech or just plain domestication
>>
>>88343982
It'd be more like beast taming since he starts doing that in Spain in the middle of the race after Scud and DAVE destroy his vehicle.
>>
>>88344036
and of course Hex achieves it before Pym could even put the harness on the ants
>>
>>88344229
Hex activates what?

Pym's the one with the making bugs big powers.

Or do you mean Hex activates his beast taming skills?

Tulio's mooks should be these guys from Bear Story (only chilean shit to ever won an oscar)

>>88345835
at first could be another ant, then after arriving to the next checkpoint Hex insist on getting a different bug (as long as it can't fly)
>>
>>88345950
Those look like decent mooks to me.

Hey, since Tulio's part of the story isn't actually a leg of the race, they could ride flying insects during that part.

Like a giant enlarged South American flying stinging whatever. Pym enlarges a whole colony of killer bees (I have no idea if those are in Chile or not) and then Jack controls them with his style (What are we calling it? Buzz Kill? Buzz Off?) and those insects make up the bulk of their cover while getting away from Tulio.

>>
>>88347407
Perfect.

Now we just need to set up Jack's continued growth.

He's supposed to get a hint from Strickland people in Aberdale about developing a proper style.
>>
>>88347453
he starts practicing in Aberdale after meeting with the Strickland guys, right? He could consciously use his Style for the first time on the way to CN City, who is he riding with at that point?
>>
>>88347791
He rides with Sam and Max to Nowhere, parts ways with them there, then rides with Old Jack.
>>

can Watt's robot use electric attacks like the other Mk III units or it just resorts to melee?

>>88349917
maybe we can have both Jacks face an opponent on their way to the City or inside the city so Yellowjacket can showcase what he learned about Style
>>
>>88350005
It should be able to send electrical shock waves through the ground.

We could have Jack and Old Jack get mixed up with the big bottleneck clash on the way into CN City.
>>
>>88350715
so, who are they going to fight? should be a recurring character or a minor one?
>>
>>88351257
I'm thinking since Jack isn't in it to win it, just to get material for his new book, and old Jack isn't in it to win it, just to prevent the corpse from being reassembled, they could stay out of the fights and only aim to finish within the time allowed to stay in the race.

It gives us a "I do not wish to fight you." opportunity (i.e. "I don't want no trabble").

So it'd have to be someone who is just hell bent on fighting for reasons other than the race.

>>88351623
>it'd have to be someone who is just hell bent on fighting for reasons other than the race
Is there anyone in the current roster or the stand doc that fit that description?
>>
>>88352735
None currently that I'm aware of.

You'd think there would be some people who entered the race just for the chance to fight strong opponents.
>>
>They can’t really fight it with their stands’ abilities, so they resort to hitting it with their stands and using MELODY to not suffer any damage until Loki’s stand breaks
wasn't it supposed that Sam and Max would beat up Loki with their Stands rather than attacking the giant Amerika?
>>
>>88354243
They do both?

Odds are Loki is riding around on it.
>>
>>88354745
due to its size, it would be easier to aim directly for Loki

>>
speaking of Loki's stand, have we decided on what are its abilities?
>>
>>88356264
It's fuck huge.

When it belong to Cartman it was only powerful when he was fighting people he thought of as greedy, so now that it belongs to Loki, maybe he's tweaked it to gain power the more he dislikes his opponent?

Something like that is an option.
>>
>>88356405
so the Stand would spend a good portion of fight being an oversized punchghost and then will bombard everyone with lightning once Loki gets pissed off?
will Melusine interfere in the fight or she is still busy blasting the springfield residents?
>>
>>88357322
I'd say she has no reason to interfere with the fight since Loki is only attacking racers, not trying to take their places in the race.

So, I've been thinking now that I'm almost done with some projects and have actually been able to sleep. What kind of crazy ass shit will Pym be doing at the end? One of the things I loved about SBR was how Johnny's growth was shown in his growing understanding of his abilities, and how they got stronger and more bizarre. Like we go from shooting finger nails to a giant pink robotic linebacker that punches people so hard they spin to death in alternate dimensions. I really hope we can work out a good ending for this.
>>
>>88358038
Lots of stuff can be done with making things bigger and smaller, like making microbes huge or shrinking down to survive in a tiny air bubble and resizing after someone breathes you in to gib them.

Or do you mean making the powers different and crazier?
>>
>>88358435
the idea of reusing the effects of the perfect Stretch and Space to beat the final antagonists has been tossed around a couple of times
>>
>>88359057
I don't know how to represent that in text form.

Would that be something like Hex sees a guy jump as a bullet comes up out of the ground and shoots him in the rear, he pauses, loads his gun, then shoots it straight into the sky.
From the paneling perspective, Hex shot the guy through the bottom boarder of the panel and Hex understood that he had to shoot up a specific amount of time later for that to have worked.

That's super confusing in text form, but also a way for him to shoot whoever kills him in the head before he gets killed as preemptive revenge. Like a shot is fired, ricochets around the panel boarders on a page, then hits its mark later.

That's how I'm understanding Hex's stand right now.

this is the stand that was meant for fat albert, it has a lengthy description
>「BIG BAD JOHN」 or 「FATBOY SLIM」
>Appearance: a large, insectoid automatic Stand with a vaguely scorpion/"facehugger" look. Its tail ends in multiple tubes that it can stick into Fat Albert, and it tends to latch onto his arm like a gauntlet
>Ability: when 「BBJ」 inserts its tube tail into Fat Albert (ala Bane’s Venom suit, but fueled by fat), it radically alters his metabolism. It basically grants the user a buff to all his physical properties by rapidly converting calories into energy and vice versa. In short, it can drain Fat Albert's 「FAT」 to give him incredible strength, speed, and regenerative properties proportional to how much 「FAT」 it can take from him. The target will very rapidly lose weight during any use of these abilities.
>The effect can also be inverted, making Albert gain 「FAT」 much more rapidly than normal by eating, digesting, and gaining weight from food much faster (such as chugging down a soda or swallowing an entire chicken to regain some 「FAT」 in seconds).

>The Stand can insert and remove its tail with no harm to its user, or alternate to grant him bursts of speed and strength without burning him out too quickly. The Stand could also theoretically be used on others if Fat Albert permits it, but his build and reputation naturally makes him an ideal host.

>>88370657
>The main limit is, naturally, the user's body fat as a fuel source. They must keep providing calories to fuel the 「STAND」 or it will simply drain them into exhaustion or death if not stopped, though the latter tends to be when Albert wills it (a possible suicide attack, most likely using it on an underling such as Mush Mouth to kamikaze his foe). Its effects are also purely physical. As needed by the plot, Fat Albert could force his Stand onto an enemy, plugging into them to drastically boost their physical attributes in exchange for draining their energy in the process, starving them out unless they remain almost completely still. Cutting Albert off from any food source or forcing him to exhaust himself would be an easy way to outdo him, for how quickly he burns himself out at full power.

Heavily mutated using demon magic.

Demons can do all kinds of weird shit in this setting if you give them the opportunity.

We need to give Ghost Rider a role in Springfield since he's an angel hunting Loki in this.
>>
>>88370808
we should also elaborate on what he is doing after scaring off Backslide in San Fransokyo and giving the exposition to Sam and Max.

also, who was going to be the ringmaster in the parade?
>>
>>88371449
I think Music Meister was suggested. Not as a stand user, just as a cameo.

Ghost Rider I think is an official entree in the race. He might only be able to access his full power at night.
>>
>>88372045
that means that the fight with Backslide takes place at night, since he gives a penance stare to Dan and sets a turbine on fire before that.
What would be his powers? his canon ones?

Canon to our fanfic or canon to the character character?

Because right now I'm just going with my vague knowledge of Ghost Rider being a guy with a flaming skull that lights up at night and sets any vehicle he's in on fire.
>>
>>88373107
which Ghost rider is he? Blaze, Ketch or (heaven forbid) Reyes?

No clue, this part is full of characters I only have semi-knowledge of.

>>88375500
That's what I was thinking.

We just need some average guy to be who he was possessing so that after Loki is banished and Ghost Rider departs his borrowed mortal form, the guy quickly runs off not knowing how he got to where he is or what's going on.
>>
>>88375558
so he starts as an unassuming background racer until he arrives to San Fransokyo, where he burst into flames for the first time along with the turbine.
Should be one of the canon ghost riders or another character?
>>
>>88375784
If you have a suggestion go for it.

He only bursts into flames at night, but during the day he should still have some super human abilities (because he got up on that flying turbine on his own).

So the sun is just setting when the fight with Dan is reaching full swing. That means the sun is also just setting when the battle with Loki in Springfield is climaxing.
>>
>>88375871
>That means the sun is also just setting when the battle with Loki in Springfield is climaxing
Sam and Max should point out that the "burning man" only appears at night when they see him again.
Some background racers could spot a guy on fire on their way to the next checkpoint, and after the first stage one of them comments that the ghost rider sightings stopped.
>>
>>88377009
So they could spot a burning man in the middle of the desert on the way to checkpoint 2 in Aberdale.

You'd think Ghost Rider would play a role in fighting zombies made out of wood.
>>
>>88377585
The day after the ordeal, one of the town residents would thank the Strickland guys for helping defend a determinate portion of the city, but the foundation representative points out that the number of their agents was limited and they weren't in that part of the city, leading the inhabitants to wonder where all the fire they saw came from.
>>
>>88377834
Does the zombie ordeal happen during the day or at night?

What time do the racers arrive in Aberdale? We assume they leave San Fransokyo at 10 or 11am, but we haven't yet fully committed to the time limit for this leg. I know it was discussed somewhere, but I don't think it was agreed upon and might not be in the doc.
>>
>>88378792
At night, I think. The Beast's fight is supposed to give a typical horror movie feel.
The time limits for the first stage were suggested in the previous thread.
>>
>>88378989
-Hill Valley City (Redding) to San Fransokyo is about 200 miles. - 2 hours time limit.
-San Fransokyo to Aberdale (Prescott) is roughly 750 miles - 22 hour time limit (there's a desert to cross here)
-Aberdale to CN City (NY City) is roughly 2,400 miles - 72 hour time limit

So, they leave San Fransokyo at10am and need to be in Aberdale by 8am the next day to still be in the race.

I assume they spend the day in Aberdale. That means there's a day to establish the atmosphere of the town and build up anything we have planned to happen at night.

We can have the day be overcast if it really needs a horror movie feeling.

Suggestion for Part 8:

>Stand Name: [RUN BOY RUN]

>Stand User: Milkwalker

>Description:
[RUN BOY RUN] takes the form of a shadow-like humanoid.
[RUN BOY RUN] can pass through any translucent or transparent objects with ease, it cannot pass through opaque objects... With an exception.

>Living beings, regardless of whether or not they are opaque can be passed through, resulting in said being getting afflicted with an irrational fear.

>These irrational fears last for approximately 4-5 hours.

>A single target can be passed through numerous times, resulting in numerous irrational fears.

Milkwalker would seem on the outside to be sinister and creepy, but in actually would be revealed to be quite kind. He would feel as though it was his duty to protect innocent people from villainous Stand Users.

I like the character and the fact that such a villain-like Stand would be given to a good guy. Maybe he can be one of the paranoid/weird characters obsessed with Ethan's Cult at first, but decides to aid the main characters at some point anyway.

I was waiting to post this when we got to part 8. But yeah, there it is.

Maybe Chris Chan gets struck with his own Stand at some point with a shitty copy of sonic or with a ant-eater character?

We should make a recurring gag in part 8 in which characters that try to mess with meme magic always end up being enslaved by their own memes in someway at the end (we already have Pepe, Ethan and maybe ME Leterally himself).
>>

>>88381104

>>88382037
I don't know of any /co/ related tapir characters, but there are probably some. That whole myth about them eating dreams is bound of have been referenced somewhere in some cartoon somehow.

As for the explosion, it doesn't happen in the Hills, it happens in the Valley factory.

It was caused by either something Wander did (like maybe overloading the "suggestion box" causing the heater to explode) or something the Punisher did if we have him that early on in the story.

right now, the Punisher is first mentioned after the first checkpoint, during the travel through the desert

>>
>>88385174
So I guess the explosion will be caused by Wander over stocking the "suggestion box" which leads to the furnace. Will there be a chapter detailing the backstory between TOM and Serenity like the one for Steven Steel in SBR?
>>
>>88386181
Yes.

Where should we place that? What should we title that?
>>
>>88386370
I don't know about the title, but it could take place after Nobody caught her and TOM has to strike the deal with him in Europe
>>
>>88386872
So TOM recalls the time he met Serenity when he believes her life is now in danger?
>>
>>88388378
yeah, pretty much. Though in this case, the one that was in a bad state was Serenity.
>>
>>88388557
TOM probably recalls how, when he first met her, Serenity was either a recovering drug addict or brainwashed by the Church.

We need to think of how they ended up in the relationship they are in now. Maybe TOM was out of work at the time and Serenity was the first to notice his vocal powers which lead to his stand developing?
Maybe TOM broke up some "youth group" Serenity was stuck in using the power of his voice?

Depends on how old Serenity is during part 7.

But yeah, it should've happened a couple years ago at least.
>>
>>88393516
She is in her late-teens as far as I know, I haven't found a explicit mention of her age. She could be older if the events of her canon story are linked with her dealings with this Church of Gaming cell
>>
>>88393883
I think she was around 14 or 15 in the comic.

If we want to keep the "how old is your girlfriend?" lines in there with the same current intended meaning, she'd have to be 16 or 17.
>>
and what is TOM's backstory in this?
>>
>>88394532
Not sure yet.

A robot with a hypnotic voice who ends up with a great career?
>>
>>88395883
Well, he is a robot with a Stand, does that mean that he is also connected to the whole jawbreaker-powered robot thing?
>>
>>88396331
He might be, but he could just as well be a different model. The first robot with a stand was in part 5, so someone other than Membrane using Wernstrom's notes could've built him.

Or he could've been a normal robot until he was exposed to cosmic radiation while working in space.
>>
>>88397166
or found a jawbreaker and tweaked himself. Whatever it was, he developed Space Oddity and used its power to quickly rose to fame as an event promoter then, for some reason, he encountered Serenity and pulled her out of the shithole she was in, namely the prayer group that was a cover for a faction of the Church of Gaming.
>>
>>88397742
There needs to be a reason for why he did that and why she sticks with him though.

If she's just with him because he pulled her out of a shit hole situation, that's too shallow for my liking.
There needs to be some kind of mutual benefit going on here.
>>
>>88397792
He may be like a parental figure to her, Serenity's parents were not role models either. The girl may be alone after the church fiasco.
By the way, here is a short version of how the whole affair of TOM and Serenity started
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/86909726/#86986046
>>
>>88398246
That's one of my posts.

Maybe Serenity gained some kind of perspective that let her see bullshit for what it is and she and TOM have an arrangement where she pulls him back if he every gets out of control with his vocal powers.
>>
How much does Serenity eavesdrops about Nobody's plan? are we using the idea that she spots Nobody talking with one of his alt-versions?
>>
>>88399309
Well she learns the trick to his stand (one of the tricks anyway), and she probably also overhears what he plans to do with the corpse and how it relates to erasing the concept of heroism.

Up until that point the importance of the corpse to Mr. Nobody's actual objective should be unknown. All Pym and Hex were ever able to find out is that there's a corpse that grants stands and other powers and some vague notion of a plot that's interpreted differently by everyone who they've interrogated.

Serenity learns that the corpse is the key to erasing the concept of heroism and tells TOM. Mr. Nobody confronts them and TOM is forced to make a deal for Serenity's safety.

During the Tulio arc, TOM has an opportunity to let slip what's happening to Hex and Pym. Hex and Pym are also informed by Scud that them getting stuck in Tulio's country was no accident which cements their conflict with him.
>>
>>88400249
At the start of the race, the existence of some kind of ancient artifacts is revealed in the lines that TOM reads in his cabin, from that point onwards he should try to figure out the nature of said objects, with Serenity being the one that discovers what the Dada party is looking for after spying on Nobody.
TOM probably has a pile of books about relics in his room/office and he's making a list of the potential artifacts that Nobody is hunting.
Also, Strickland and Interpol are also investigating the race's true purpose and the Hero's corpse, should all those investigations meet at one point?
>>
>>88401193
Oh, good point.

It should all come together in either Tulio's country or shortly thereafter. Navis is Interpol, that that gives her an exit from the story since she'd have to go report that... unless someone wants to kill her off there, I could go either way on her, but her getting away to report this and getting Interpol's WHOOP space fleet into action is something I don't want to pass up on.

A good exit for Navis would be her getting critically injured by Tulio's forces and the Computer in her vehicle doing everything it can to keep her alive during that arc. She recovers enough to get the information from TOM, but despite wanting to keep going in the race, the Computer forces her to retire and takes her to wherever the current extraction point for her is.
>>
>>88401341
what about this?
>Navis is badly wounded, his car automatically drives away from the rest of the group
>A small portion of Tulio's henchmen gives her chase until they arrive to a cliff next to the coast
>The car drives off the cliff and plummets into the ocean, seemingly killing its driver
>cue her pursuers laughing and comparing her with the previous president that offed himself
I'm not sure if she actually survives the ordeal or not

are Strickland and Interpol working together or are they doing their research separately?
>>
>>88401780
Navis is an Interpol agent being sponsored in the race by Strickland as her cover.

Yeah, they're working together.

The problem is Navis needs to be there when TOM flees with the other racers after he gets rescued from Tulio's pleasure barge. Or at least be there after that to get the information.

I just want fighter spaceships attacking Stardust in the finale fruitlessly, and the only way to get that kind of shit in place is for the information to leak, and this is the only opportunity that's been presented to get that information to the powers playing behind the scenes.
>>
Who is making it to space anyway?

Too soon to know?
>>
>>88403547
yeah is pretty soon, though the racers that are reaching the space stage so far are:

-Pym
-Wander (if he is going to be the one that gets the wish from the Star)
-Yellowjacket (so he can take the notes to finish his book)
-Haddock (He apppears in the President's office inside the Absolution)
-The Wizard (he becomes the true endboss)

I don't know who else

For the first phase, a normal bike is fine, but then it needs to be made water traversable. Odds are it won't survive Tulio's onslaught unless it gets a serious upgrade at the robot town.

But thinking about phase 1, I could see her using it to dive on top of an jump from rival vehicle to rival vehicle.
>>
>>88406736
well, we already have a vehicle with an hydrofoil running around, isn't too far-fetched that she turned the bike into some kind of water scooter with the spare parts given in Fantastic Island, and the seafaring modifications could be discarded once she arrives in Spain.
>>
>>88407104

But anyway, I was thinking she'd pull off one of those in one side of the car out the other tricks during phase 1. Not sure where she is right before the first checkpoint. I'd have to check to see where she placed in the rankings if at all.
>>
>>88407932
She arrives in tenth place in the first checkpoint, there are no lists for the other checkpoints.
>>
>>88408055
We'll make those lists when we get to them.

Dammit, my mind is fixated on Cybersix now.
In this the WB were making Atomic Super Men, and she is one of them.
Mass produced super soldiers meant to infiltrate undetected and destroy other organizations from within. The Loonatics were just the super prototypes meant for combat to prove their worth as a resource.
So there's all these super soldiers in tanks in abandoned labs who haven't been woken up yet. No orders give, all blank slates. They sit there for years undiscovered until the Loonatics begin recovering them.

10 years go by and the mass produced stand jawbreaker powered robots are made. They end up coming to where the few Atomic Super Men were eking out a life and they realize they're all one and the same. The robots start helping the Loonatics track down any of the still tanked Atomic Super Men, Cybersix is one of them, part of an infiltrator series, she's fully grown upon being "born" (removed from her tank) and already has language and skills pre-programmed into her brain, but no people skills, so she spends a couple years being raised by a pair of robots.

The shit the WB was up to is shaping or influencing every part after they were taken down.

And none of this is relevant or revealed until late in phase 2.
>>

>>
So, where is the corpse's leg? one part of the doc mention a giant bone used as a capsule but the fight between Spongebob and Goofy says it was in a dirt mount.

>>
>>88417901

>>
>>88418751
I think Jack unearthed and opened to the giant bone when he sensed the corpse part was gone just to check.

That section needs some tweaks here and there so everything meshes together better, but that's still a ways off in the actual work order.
>>
I don't think Jack knows who the corpse was in life, just that whoever it was was a hero and did something to save the Earth at the cost of his own life by trapping whatever the threat was within himself and then scattering the pieces of his body.
>>
>>88420275
I think that only Frollo knows the Hero's real identity.

Have we explained how the corpse parts were scattered?
>>
>>88420584
I assume the battle between Superman and Stardust happened in space.

Then the parts of Superman's body fell back down to Earth like shooting stars.

Some stayed where they landed, others were recovered, and some ended up at the locations of past climactic battles due to the Hero's lingering desire to help.
>>
Maybe STAR energy is also emitted by the sun, but it's too strong for humans to absorb and deflects most of the more diluted STAR energy from other sources from reaching Earth.

Superman was not of Earth and his body was more than capable of processing the undiluted STAR energy from the sun. In death his corpse still contains vast amounts of STAR energy.

Writing posts like these are when I need to remind myself just how weird this fanfic is and has become.

So Eustace found one of Superman's legs during his travels and kept it as a memento (or he didn't know that it was part of superman's corpse), I'm not sure how it ended inside the giant bone.

Did Frollo found the ribcage or someone else recovered it?
>>
>>88432387
We might not be using that first part of the things you mentioned.

Do you remember the God Bone from Courage the Cowardly Dog? Superman's leg was inside the God Bone and Courage buried it on the farm. It was all some weird coincidence that Eustace had a connection with the Hero, but that connection helped with the God Bone finding its way there.

Frollo sensed the Hero's presence and deduced something of his old friend must've merged with one of the Holy relics he's been guarding.
He's correct in his deduction that it merged with the Holy Grail, though he has no idea which grail is the Holy Grail. He began to believe after Superman had died that he was someone who God himself had blessed or something and his opinion of his old friend gradually became warped as the century passed and Frollo continued to not die (because he had been drinking from the Grail during this time without realizing it).

The God Bone was surrounded by dead dogs that were unable to stop licking it, maybe they become restless once the bone is excavated and the corpse leg is gone. Jack could be attacked by them if he goes to check on the bone.

>Courage could had become a Corpse part guardian in another timeline
>>
>>88434143
So old Jack sense the corpse part is no longer in the land and is assaulted by the dog skeletons, finds the God Bone capsule opened, and then rushes to the City of Nowhere to confront the last people he was aware of having been on that land: Pym and Hex (they fought Shocker there).

Stand Name: The Boxer

Power - A

Speed - B

Range - D

Durability - C

Precision - A

Potential - C

The Boxer's punches can pierce through objects and people, and if the user decides to, can hook them and bring said thing to him. Hows this

Hex and Pym face Punisher on their way to Aberdale, how much fire they should exchange? Would Pym's car need repairs once they arrive to the town?
>>
>>88440839
Taking a /co/ project off of /co/ is a slow, agonizing death for the project with not even a glimmer of hope for finishing it. You take it off of /co/ and you take it away from most people who worked on it since they won't go to other sites to work on something like this.

>>88441082
They should exchange fire until Shocker gets away.
Punisher wants to kill Shocker, Hex wants him alive for the bounty.

Pym's car is going to take a beating, but still somehow keep going.

What does the Punisher do using his edge MELODY in the desert?
>>
>>88441495
>What does the Punisher do using his edge MELODY in the desert?
He is driving his Battle Van, which is a mobile armory, so he has a bunch of weapons at his disposal.
He could shoot at one of the windows of Pym's car, shattering the whole window and turning the shards into shrapnel that lacerate both Pym and Hex, this could be the first hint that something is unnatural in Punisher fighting method.
He could also use more ludicrous weapons that only work thanks to his ability, like the knife-shooting gun.
All the while he is adding an entry to his War Journal.
>>
>>88442267
Let's take this a step further.

He shoots out the bullet proof, laminated glass windshield of Pym's car, shattering it, but none of the shards lacerate Pym or Hex (because they're not his target).

Pym wonders how the fuck that happened since there's no way anything should've made that type of glass shatter like a church's stained glass windows.
>>
>>88442608
Punisher should never run out of ammo or need to reload while he's under the effect of his ability, and any projectile he toss doesn't offer wind resistance, making a fatman-like bomb fly like an arrow.
During the clash they could get one of Punisher's extreme weapons, and when they try to test it after the fight, it comes apart (or explodes).

Does anybody know who made this picture? I had an idea way waaay long ago about making a stand for Eduardo based on this song and posted about it in one of these threads.

I'm not trying to claim ownership or say I was stolen from or some faggotry like that, but I'm really curious to know if my idea was used or if this was just a huge coincidence?

As proof, here is the drawing I made for what I imagined the stand to look like, not that it can really serve as proof since anybody could have just copied it from that thread...
>>
>>88446450
there was a suggestion listed in the doc for part 4 that ended being part of the Stands inside Hotel California, I think it was a coincidence that the drawfag paired the name with the character
>>
>>88446516
I see, thank you!
>>
>>88443263
Pym could get a hold of the knife gun that Hex shoots out of Punishers hands and he holds it up and looks at it and says "There's no way something like this should even work" and then describe exactly how it shouldn't work. Then it falls apart in his hands in the way he described.

When Hex is fighting Punisher in CN City he should remember this and say in all the ways how the rocket propelled chainsaw launcher should not work. He says this after he's forced the Punisher into his (Hex's) "pace" which causes the thing to blow up in the Punisher's face.

"Pace" might be something we can employ here. It's not like MELODY, it's like one character makes all the other characters around them behave in a certain way, like they fall in rhythm with this character and it lets the person decide the "pacing" of the events which lets them predict the outcome.

That was me. I actually was inspired to make this from the [Fear of the Dark] Stand suggestion in the old Stand doc (which had a note on giving it ot Eduardo too) plus the ideia that Imaginary Friends from Foster's were actually Stands. The description was just too fitting. Later I found out that it was a thing even back in the part 4 threads.

Hope to see you back in here, your ideias are pretty good.
>>
>>88448105
Probably similar to how you tell a joke to make Melody happen, but in Punisher's case, he'll have to say something over-the-top or witty to boost his MELODY.

>>88447716
Pace seems fitting considering part 7 is all about these kinds of 4th wall manipulation. Maybe Pym realises it works in a similar way to how Hex's manipulation worked. Also, maybe we could have Punisher use both MELODY and Pacing to make things go his way.
>>
>>88448313
That's really cool, I'm glad you liked my ideas!
>>
>>88446488

>>
>>88448105
Frank Franks the Frank, that's how he know it'll Frank.

It's just Frank.

>>88448585
Pacing and MELODY could look identical in effect to the untrained eye, but while MELODY is about having timing, pacing is all about changing the timing.

A change in timing can really screw up an opponent.

Hex has Shocker in his sights on the way to SanFran, he says some stuff, does the show, the challenge, whatever it is that activates pacing, he gets Shocker into his rhythm and is predicting his ever move, but this is pacing for a show down between two outlaws, not pacing for two racers on the racetrack, so while he's able to get Shocker to do what he wants, it still backfires because of Shocker's stand and because of Shocker's Shocker Mobile.

Like Hex has him cornered and all of a sudden Shocker is replaced by the Shocker Mobile, which has a remote control function, and Shocker tried to run Hex down using it, and Hex's horse wasn't as lucky as Hex.

Should Hex have to put down his horse?
>>
>>88448714
I don't know, I guess it wasn't clear that it was a stand or maybe because I never indicated which /co/ character it would belong to on the same post. Maybe they need to make a note of that sort of thing?
>>
>>88448840
I thought that Shocker revealed his Stand in Nowhere (though none of the presents could see it besides Shocker).
>>
>>88450327
It's always been the plan that Shocker uses his stand's ability to evade Hex in the first leg.

Hex can's see Shocker's stand, and it has no offensive abilities on its own.

Since no one has suggested anything else for Shocker's stand, I'm going with the one that looks like a small dog that lets him switch places with anything he's touched that is within 50m of his person.

It's a small dog because Shocker used to have a small dog and once stole a small dog from a pet shop out of spite.
Or maybe that was someone he was with. I don't remember.
>>
>>88450593
>using a dog stand
>in the farm where Courage lived
>near a bunch of undead dogs
Seems alright, it should have a quilted appearance to match Shocker and his car.
>>
>>88451327
I don't think Hex, Pym, or Shocker ever see the undead dogs.

And maybe he's only able to activate the ability when he says "Don't mock the Shocker!"
>>
>>88451641
the God Bone and the dogs burial grounds are somewhere in the desert but is still in Nowhere.

>maybe he's only able to activate the ability when he says "Don't mock the Shocker!"
He says that earlier in the story when they call him a pantyhose ninja, does he activate his Stand there?
>>
>>88451804
Yeah, but the undead dogs don't start popping out of the ground until after Pym and Hex leave, that's why Old Jack thinks they took the corpse part.

He probably doesn't activate it until the first leg of the race.
>>
>>88452969
I know, but the place still has/had a lot of dogs around (I forgot to count Sam among them).

When he is faced in the farm, will Shocker use his Stand to mess with Hex and Pym or to run away? for the latter he could be shown dropping small objects on his way to the farm and then swap places with them once he is cornered.
>>
>>88453277
I think he's trying to get rid of them at that point.

He's tried running and Hex just will not leave him alone in this race, so now he's trying to set a trap and take out his pursuers.
>>
should we explain how Nobody got the Super Rod and the other parts before the race?
>>
>>88454546
How many parts does he have before the race?

Aberdale - Internal organs
Nowhere - Left leg
Springfield - Left arm
Voya Nui - Right eye
Paris - Ribs
Sunken Looniversity - Right arm
Chile - Skull
Rio - ??? Heat? Spine? Left eye?

That's all the parts we have planed right now.
>>
>>88454664
Fuck. I forgot.

Fantastic Island - Right leg

Do we just want to have the spine in Rio? Maybe have whatever other parts hidden in the ruins of the pillarman empire?
>>
>>88454664
originally there were going to be a lot of parts the super scrotum being one and Nobody and his cronies already collected several of them in the background, the Super Rod being the most prominent, there was also the suggestion that Nobody merged with one of them (the heart?) as a parallel of Valentine.
>>
>>88454815
The idea of having 52 corpse parts was dropped early on since there's just no way to represent all of them.

If Mr. Nobody has other parts before the race started then he got them either through chance or because they were easier for the Front Men to retrieve. The race is to gather hero types and send them in the direction of the corpse parts so they'll either collect them for him into one place or knock down any of the defenses so his Front Men can collect them.
>>
>>88455120
ok, we still have to decide which part is in Rio.
>>
>>88455160
I say spine.

Where is the left eye though?
>>
>>88455388
it was suggested that both eyes were in Voya Nui
>>
>>88455484
So Hex gets both eyes?

That some super depth perception he'll have going on.
>>
>>88455687
or the front men (or whoever they fight on the island) get the other one, alternatively it may get lost during the fight in the ocean and is recovered by one of Nobody's henchmen after the racers leave the area, and a third option is that another racer gets the left eye.
>>
>>88455800
The Front Men lead by Snake Eyes are taken out of the picture on Fantastic Island.

Gerald the sea lion is warping between two different groups of racers after Voya Nui since neither side wants the other to have the eyes in his bucket.
>>
>>88456031
then who is the other side? Are they on Nobody's payroll or is a third party?
>>
>>88456080
Good question. I don't have an answer since we haven't planned any of that part yet aside from the skeleton outline.

They'd need to be racers, so Aunt May and Goofy are candidates for this role in that leg.

Should Old Jack be in contact with Strickland during the race?
>>
>>88372045
I thought Loki would possess Music Meister and use him to wreak havoc in the parade, Wuya already displayed the ability to possess people in part 5.
>>
>>88434351
did he get involved in the fight besides slicing Shocker's car?
>>
>>88458648
I think that's the explanation for the heart shaped mark on Mr. Nobody's chest.

>>88461122
He might recognize the logo when he sees it, but I think he lost touch with the organization after Hank died and Chane took over.

He could reconnect with it if he becomes aware of Bobby being in charge now.

>>88461848
That's probably a better idea than Loki just shoving him out of the way and taking over.

So they have to force Loki out of Music Meister somehow.

>>88462121

Old Jack shouldn't show up until near the end of that fight and tell them to leave this land.

I think he runs away once Ghost Rider appears, at least that was on the doc last time I checked. No idea what happens with Music Meister once Loki leaves his body.
>>
>>88464444
Yeah, that's in the doc, but the whole possession thing is new.

Could be Ghost Rider forces Loki out.
>>
>>88464543
When he escapes Music Meister's body, Loki could shapeshift into something that slips into a storm grate, like a snake. Later on, he would complain that he was forced to swing in the sewers.

>>
>>88448840

Probably, if it survives the attack but is mortally wounded, otherwise the horse could had died immediately.

>>88471512
It's only to know who entered the race (and probably retires once Loki is banished)
>>
>>88473651
We should make it as dramatic and terrible as possible, the scene of Hex having to put a bullet in the head of his horse that now has four problem legs after getting hit by the Shocker Mobile.
>>
>>88472752
Is there any /co/ character that fit that description? I can't think of anyone right now.

>>
Did the Ghost Rider actually entered the race or was he forced to do so by the spirit that possessed him?

The spirit that possessed him entered into the race since it knew its mark would come to it that way.
>>
>>88484071
yeah, but the guy that is now the Ghost Rider, did he originally intended to enter the race or he entered under the influence of the spirit?
>>
>>88484288
If it's Jiggy then he only entered because of the influence of the spirit.

Right now we have it so whoever is entered for Ghost Rider drops out after Loki is banished, so if it's Jiggy, that'd make sense since he wouldn't want to risk his hair getting damaged anymore.
>>
>>88485174
And Mr. Nobody should say something like "Hmm, right, I thought he looked a little too husky." when one of his associates corrects him when he thought he saw Johnny Bravo.
>>
who's gonna be the fool that awakens the Beast in Aberdale?
>>
>>88487904
Probably Clarence, Jeff, and Sumo.

They wake up the monster and trap it in that monster house or something, then try to get help while all hell breaks loose and coffins start popping out of the ground controlling corpses like puppets with roots.
>>
>>88487955
So they awaken it before or after the racers arrive to the town?
>>
>>88488305
Could be right before or a few days before. They'd have no way of knowing the racers are coming until the day before their arrival, so they couldn't really plan to ask them for help any sooner than that.

Are we gonna use the idea of Clarence's Lil' Buddy getting filled with undead plants?
>>
>>88488706
I'd like to use that, but I'm not sure how since the current power set of The Beast in this seems to be limited to controlling dead wood and plant matter.
>>
>>88488759
>seems to be limited to controlling dead wood and plant matter
precisely, Clarence would had left his lil' buddy behind when they first entered into the Beast's territory, and plants and vines grew inside the doll.
>>
>>88489357
So the doll becomes an avatar for The Beast, being his puppet body to lead the hoards?
>>
>>88490440
I was thinking more of a regular minion. It could either be among the horde of plant monsters or lying somewhere in the lair, seemingly unaffected, and when Clarence goes to retrieve the doll, it springs to life, with the plant matter coming out through the seams.
>>
>>88490912
So it's with the hoard and Clarence keeps getting i the way of burning it because he's an idiot and keeps pleading with the doll. It never works and he ends up burning it himself on accident when his grandfather shows up.

I like it.

Hex and Pym are dealing with that while Navis and Strickland are going after the monster in the house. There should be a STYLE user among them since Bobby re-implemented that policy after part 6 since the pillarmen are still around.
The STYLE user should be someone who has been around a while, long enough to see similarities between Clearance's grandfather and Hank. He'll also need to drop some pointers to Yellowjacket since he sees him with the beginnings of a STYLE of his own.
>>
>>88493616
I was thinking that during the whole ordeal, Clarence believes that his lil' buddy came to life by some sort of magic, but was cursed by the Beast shortly after, while Jeff constantly tries to explain him that is just a plant monster that got stuck inside the doll.

>Navis and Strickland are going after the monster in the house
you mean the Beast or the Monster House itself?

So, who is gonna be this Style user? will he survive the fight?
>>
>>88494292
The Beast is inside the Monster House, manipulating the wood to make the house a monster house.

So what should the general look of these plan monsters be?

But even before that, as the racers are approaching Aberdale, maybe it should cut to Clarence and his friends doing whatever as Jeff narrates it before Sumo asks him what he's doing.
We focus on the kids up on the cliffs and the see the racers come into town, but they go about their own adventure and find the old grave yard and The Beast, it chases them, they lose it in an old abandoned big house, then they go to try to get help from whoever they can in town.

They're known liars, so the only people they think they have a chance at getting help from are the racers since they're new in town and don't know the reputation of Clarence, Jeff, and Sumo.

I'm not sure about the name painted black since is similar to Nowhere Man's skill
>>
>>88520808
Or at least until they're sure they've collected all the zombie wood splinters from his body.
>>
>>88522283
Ok then how about [Happy Faces]?
>>
I don't think is important, but how did the jars ended in the mausoleum?
>>
>>88524845
They ended up there the same way any of the other corpse parts ended up where they are.

So no, not really important to the story.

In JoJo part 7 the holy corpse parts ended up where they are because wild animals were compelled to transport them across the continent.

In our part 7, Superman's corpse blew apart in space after trapping Stardust within himself and the parts scattered across the Earth. Some were found and moved, others stayed where they landed.
>>
Ok I'll start writing something for the Aberdale section, how many jars are in the crypt?
>>
>>88526719
They contain the internal organs so... just go with 10. We don't need to say what's in all of them.
>>
>>88525047
So did the Beast gathered the organs or someone else did it before him?
>>
>>88528942
The Beast might've gathered them in the woods, or someone else might've gathered them and put them into urns and The Beast ended up stuck guarding them.

It's really a detail I think would be better left as a mystery.
>>
>>88529001
Alright, it was mostly to know if the Beast considered them a personal treasure or something he was tasked to protect
>>
>>88529154
Maybe he views them as super nourishment and that's how he's gotten so powerful. He can't eat them or directly handle them, but he can feed off of their energy.
>>
>>88529324
so all this mess is because they stumbled upon the Beast's cupboard. After everyone leaves and the Front Men arrive to retrieve the remaining jars, one of them should mention how some kids found the Corpse parts by accident before the government with all his paraphernalia, then his boss tells him to shut up.
>>
>>88530274
Yeah, that's pretty much Clarence's existence. He finds something and it snowballs from there.

Snake Eyes would probably smack whoever was trying to get philosophical in the back of the head.
>>
Well here's a bump before bed.
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKJXlQQI2ms
>>
>>88532248
> Tfw the voice actor is the same one who did DIO
>>
Should the scene start with Clarence and friends in the entrance of the crypt or skip directly to them entering the chamber with the jars?
>>
>>88534301
I was thinking it'd start with them seeing the racers approaching town from a distance.

We never focus on the racers crossing the Aberdale checkpoint line, instead it stays focused on Clearance as Sumo and Jeff complain that they're missing the big race while Clarence reassures them that what he's going to show them is more interesting.

They go into this crypt and there are these jars with roots all around them, Sumo is upset "This is what you wanted to show us? Some jars?" and he grabs one to either open it or throw it when one of the roots grabs him and The Beast wakes up.

Maybe they run out while still carrying one of the jars and that's why the hoard comes to town. They could have the liver and Haddock "drinks" it while drunk before agreeing to go fight the monster for the kids.
>>
>>88535373
so, Clarence found the crypt earlier, did he found it by chance or he was searching something else? and how big is that place? is there a single chamber or is a bigger complex?
>>
>>88535664
He probably found it while chasing a small animal.

If it's a man made crypt in a graveyard, then not too big. They're also in Arizona, so it'll be sandy.

The Beast takes the remaining jars still in the crypt to the house for better protection as he waits for his forces to bring back the urn Sumo took.
>>
how many Front men are there?
>>
>>88537565
At least 13.

>After the racers leave Aberdale, a bunch of black cars arrive to where the Monster House was located
>From them, a gang of at least thirteen mobsters with trenchcoats emerge and swarm the area. Their Boss stands in front of them and surveys the ruins
>Boss: what a spectacle those fellas mounted ‘round here, huh? This place is all crispy
>“Lucky that we didn't have to deal with those freakish plants” says a henchman
>Boss: Half the job already done, I love dat. Alright, gentlemen, lets finish this job and find what we are looking for!
>He strolls around as his men search through the burnt wood when something catches his eye “Jackpot”
>He removes one of the urns, unscathed from the flames, from a pile of wreckage, then let out a hearty chuckle
>Boss: Suckers were right on top of these babies and no one ever noticed them, can ya’ believe it, boys?
>Thug: I can’t believe some meddling kids found da urns before the prez and his goons. Right, boss?
>The boss pistol whips the thug “shut yer face, what if someone is snoopin' around and you just spilled the beans about who hired us? Now grab those shovels and dig like the rest
>He searches again in the same place, then came to a halt immediately and let out another chuckle “Stop the search, boys, they are all here! Another successful mission”
>Another men raise his voice “oy, boss, are ya sure those are all the jars we are lookin for?”
>Boss: do I look like a medic to you? How would I know? And most importantly, why should we care? We found ‘em and now they are goin' first class to their destination
>As the mobsters load the urns into one of the cars’ trunk, the boss takes a cigar from his coat and lights it “Let’s hope all da other pieces are as easy to grab as these. I don’t like to get mah hands dirty, you know?” The light from the cigar reveals that the boss’ eyes are actually a pair of dice

I see.

I'm in the middle of writing some of these interviews, that's some info I'll need when I get to the race starting.
>>
Anyway, let's do these interviews.

>While waiting for the opening ceremonies to get underway, the racers are all lined up, doing any last minute checks and tweaks to their chosen mode of transportation
>A small square yellow fellow, porous as can be, wearing a ten gallon hat and boots with spurs on them is spit shining the side of a large rock
>He’s shined it so well he can see his own reflection and it and gives himself a wink and a point
>”Lookin’ good!”
>Behind his reflection he sees the reflection of another yellow figure approaching him
>He turns to see April O’Neil (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) holding a microphone with a camera drone hovering behind her
>April: “Excuse me, sir, would you be willing to give us an interview?”
>Spongebob smiles “The name’s Spongebob ‘Dirty Dan’ Squarepants. What can I do for ya’?”
>A narration box appears under Spongebob reading “Spongebob ‘Dirty Dan’ Squarepants, Fry-cook Supreme”
>April, thinking: (Sponge, dirty? Oh, I get it.)
>In the background, a huge plume of smoke is seen, a pale green face with a huge nose and tiny by comparison black mustache shoots out of it when Spongebob said ‘Dan’, the smoke is being generated by the cigarette he’s been puffing
>”Would you mind telling our viewers a little about why you entered the race, sponsors, if any, and any name you might have given your vehicle?”
>Spongebob jumps up on top of his rock and says “I’d be delighted. I’m entered into this race to promote the Krusty Krab franchise, HQ located in Molly’s Gamble, and this here is my vehicle.”
>April is puzzled, "Mr.... Dirty Dan, you do realize your vehicle is a rock?"
>Spongebob is wiggling back and forth now, as if dancing on his butt, "The Pioneers used to ride these babies for miles!" before he starts singing "THE KRUSTY CRAB PIZZA, IS THE-"
cont.
>>
>>88541560
>April backs away from him and right into the big nosed pale green man wearing a purple suit who greets her “Hello, my name is Dan Backslide, and this is my RUNABOUT, you see-”
>April is already gone, having seemingly failed to notice him
>Dan fumes as smoke comes out his nose

>April is now approaching a man (well, dog man) sitting in a jalopy that’s seen better days
>The car is covered in scratches, looks like it has been lift on fire, has dents everywhere as if it went through a trash compactor, and the roof seems to have been modified so it can be retractable
>The driver is wearing a scarf, racing goggles, and is trying to adjust a mirror without breaking it off of the car
>April holds out her microphone “Hello, sir… sir?”
>Goofy is frozen in place as he looks at April, he has a hand over his face to cover up his blushing and is twirling one of his ears with the other hand
>He finally gets a word out “G-Goofy Goof...”
>A narration box appears reading “Goofy ‘Dippy Dawg’ G. Goof – Economist”
>April continues with a soft smile, “Mr. Goof, would you mind telling the folks watching at home a little about why you entered the race and...”
>Goofy is already driving off to the starting line before she can finish “Huh, must be camera shy.”
>A shot of Goofy’s face reveals he’s gone from shy to solemn and stone faced as if he’s remembering something painful

>Dan Backslide appears again “MADAME, IF I CAN HAVE YOUR ATTEN-” April is gone again, a dotted outline showing where she just was
>>
>>88541586
>April approaches a young man wearing a red open jacket with yellow tinted glasses, he’s kicking the side of his vehicle
>It’s an open top motorcycle tank hybrid that looks like it could fire mortar shells out the front if it needed to
>April approaches him with her usual professionalism, but is greeted with “Hello hot stuff. Come to check out my sweet ride” he runs his hands up and down his person “or my Motor Tank?”
>April suppresses a grimace “Sir, I’m with the racing committee, would you care to tell the folks at home a little about yourself, why you entered the-”
>”They call me Rex Salazar,” Rex takes the microphone and positions himself in front of the camera drone “Generator Rex to some. I think my performance in this first leg of the race will tell you good folks at home all you need to know about me.”
>A narration box appears “ ‘Generator’ Rex Salazar, professional adrenaline junkie”
>April snatches back her microphone “Sir-!”
>Rex interrupts again “Hey, maybe you and I could get dinner wherever the first stop of this race is and I can show you all the cool stuff my sweet ride can do.”
>April is already walking away from Rex
>”Huh, she’s totally into me.”

>Dan Backslide appears again, but this time he’s already missed April
>>
>>88541611
>April approaches a man on a horse “Sir, I’m with the race committee, would you mind telling the viewers at home a little about why you’ve entered the race?”
>He just responds "None of your business." and move away from the camera as he tries to spot Shocker's place in the starting line
>April: “Wow, rude.”

>Cut to another interview with Jack this time, the camera is put in his face he just says "Oh, I'm... Jack." then glances over to Pym who is being show-off-y in front of another camera and narrows his eyes a little "Just Jack."

>TOM is interviewing Pym when a girl with blue hair comes up behind him, “Hey TOM, the president is going to be arriving soon, you should get back to the announcer booth.”
>A narration box appears that reads “Serenity Harper – TOM’s girlfriend”
>TOM: “Yeah? Thanks honey bunch.” and walks off after giving her what would look like a kiss if he had lips or a face
>Pym looks at the girl “How old are you?”
>Serenity shoots him a glare back “Old enough to tell you to shut up.”

>Cut back to April and she’s interviewing an old lady
>”Of course, deary, I’m May Reilly Parker Jameson, though most people just call me Aunt May.”
>A narration box appears reading “ ‘Aunt’ May Reilly Parker Jameson – Sweet old lady, master chef”
>”I entered the race to promote my start up cookie business, here, try some.”
>She produces a tray of cookies out of nowhere
>April gingerly takes one “They good!”
>Aunt May smiles and drives off in a hurry to the starting line leaving a trail of dust behind her
>Her car noticeably has raised exhaust pipe fins that shoot flames out of them

Anyone else need to be interviewed, or should that be all of them and next it move into the rules of the race?
>>
>>88541646
I think that's enough, unless Wander needs introduction
>>
>>88542114
Nah, we already introduced him with a narration box and everything back in registration.
>>
>>88542151
what about Dick Dastardly? or are we going to keep his story hidden?
>>
>>88544249
He'll be introduced properly as the race begins and roughly half of the participants vehicles fail to start due to his sabotage.

I'm almost done with writing up all of everything that needs to be written before the race finally actually truly gets past the starting line.
>>
>Back at the announcer booth an armored bus has parked next to it, from the bus comes several men wearing dark suits and even darker shades, then the man with the Magic Murder Bag, then President Mr. Nobody steps out waving to his adoring public, followed by even more darked out men and women in suits, then finally a young woman with red hair wearing a green witch outfit carrying a broomstick
>The young woman remarks “Kind of a dumpy town to be starting the race at.” As she looks at the factories occupying every other city block; the smog they make thickening the air half-way up the hills surrounding the city where a number of pristine houses sit in contrast with the run down and dirty buildings on the valley floor
>She takes note of a man wearing a dark red suit surrounded by several identical blonde girls
>”So towns like these still exist where the local businessmen can get away with anything, huh?”

>TOM steps out to greet them with a hand held out only for Mr. Nobody to give him a hug
>”TOM, you handsome machine, I trust everything is moving along at a steady pace? Every gear sprung accounted for?”
>TOM, slowly returning the embrace, “Yes, Mr. President, everything is prepared for your speech to kick off the opening ceremonies.”
>”Superb! Then let’s get this show on the road as soon as possible!”
>Mr. Nobody races up the steps to the stage, his suited escort and the local representatives follow quickly to take their seats around the podium
>The crowed cheers for him, Mr. Nobody lets them go on for but a moment before he begins
>”My fellow Americans and any other guests we may be hosting this fine day, two years ago you elected me your commander in chief, you said Nobody should be the one to work in the high office, the highest in the land, you went out and cast your votes not for the same old boring curmudgeonly that’s befuddled our nation since time immemorial, but for the new, the strange, the exciting, dare I say? The bizarre!”
>>
>>88544638
>Mr. Nobody is striking all kinds of poses as he says these words, from hunched over, to head flung back dramatically, to upright with an arm above his head with the hand dangling freezing
>”And today, my dear friends, I make good once again on my various campaign promises to give you excitement, to provide a cure to that monotony that is your everyday lives: the Wacky Races!”
>The banner above the stage unfurles, it looks like a finger painting experiment gone horribly right to re-imagine the alphabet
>”But what’s that you say? This is not grand enough? Not strange enough? ‘What’s the big deal, it’s just a car race?’ ‘Who cares, the prize is only 500,000,000 dollars? Money is common.’ Wrong, the prize is not just mere money, but a certain item of wonder I have in my position, an object of myth and legend that has been said to have made and broken empires, to have elevated mere mortals to gods and gods to mole crickets, what I offer at the end of this race is the Wishing Star! It is real, I assure you, and it’s powers are unquestionable. Any wish you may have that you make upon it will come true, no matter how outlandish or mundane. It is my gift to one lucky sole who has entered this race and sees it through to the end.”
>The crowd explodes with this revelation and confirmation, some lament not having entered, others scoff at how prosperous it is, with others still don’t know what to think of this.
>>
>>88544652
>Sam and Max are also watching
>"Hey Sam."
>"Yeah Max?"
>A narration box appears reading “Sam & Max – Freelance Police”
>"Is the president naked right now?"
>"It would appear so, little buddy, but he is wearing gloves, which is considered socially acceptable attire for many of the more animated members of our society."
>"Now, THAT is what I respect in a leader. He sets his own terms and sticks to them. Hitler is one of my favorites; he stood in the way of his war strategists to make sure things got done his way."
>"Well, that made him lose the war..."
>"Not the smartest thing to do, but it sure is respectable."
>"Is that why you don't wear any clothes?"
>"Nah, I just enjoy streaking in front of grandmas way too much to stop."

>”Take it away TOM.”
>Mr. Nobody casually tosses the mike away as the screen behind him switches over to TOM
>TOM: “For those of you who haven’t been paying attention or need a refresher, here’s the break down:
>The race is broken up into segments divided by check points.
>There’s a time limit to reach each checkpoint, you will be informed of this time limit at the start of each leg of the race. If you don’t make it to the next checkpoint within that time limit, you’re out.
>After a racer has crossed the checkpoint they are forbidden from interfering with other racers, but interference is legal as long as all parties have yet to cross the checkpoint line.
>Points are awarded solely to those who finish within the top 30 and are non-transferable.
>If a racer who had been awarded points, for whatever reason, drops out of the race then any points they won become null.
>Prizes awarded at checkpoints are independent from the points awarded and are decided by the sponsors.
cont.
>>
>>88544696
>If a racer performs particularly well but still fails to qualify for points or the checkpoint prize, then the individual sponsors may give you something for your troubles anyway, but that is entirely up to them and how popular you’ve made yourself in this race.
>The $500,000,000 prize will be awarded to whichever racer finishes the race with the highest total number of points.
>The Wishing Star will be awarded to the racer who finishes the race first, so even if you’re not doing so hot with the points, as long as you stay in the race, you still have a shot at the Wishing Star.
>After the time limit of each checkpoint is up, racers will be given a day to make any repairs to their vehicles or take care of anything else they need to do.
>Checkpoints will not be announced beforehand, only the President knows where this race will be going next, so no one gets a head start.
>Weapons of all kinds are allowed, if you can get it, you can use it, and though not encouraged, death is always a possibility, you all signed those wavers at the registration. Racers will be granted clemency at each checkpoint they clear.
>And one last thing: flying is strictly prohibited to reach the checkpoints.
>Now, allow me to introduce this race’s rules enforcer, the lovely Mélusine!”
>Mélusine takes the stage, does a curt bow and then spins her broomstick before placing it in midair and sitting sidesaddle on it before the broom shoots straight upwards into the sky

>”All preparations are complete, without any further delay, Mr. President, if you would be so kind, where are our racers off to first?”
>The camera turns to Mr. Nobody again who is sitting with his feet up taking a sip from a mug
>He points at the mug, one of those souvenir you can get anywhere, it has the Golden Gate Bridge painted on it
>”My Commandos of Confusion, you have three hours to reach The Big One Bar located in San Fransokyo, California. Good luck to you all!”
>>
>>88544727
Oh, and also

>A narration box appears reading “Mélusine – Witch, Dadaist, Rules Enforcer, House Keeper”

right after the line where she takes the stage.
>>
Oh, who was the guy who bought the land Aberdale would be built on from the Native Americans using chicken?

In the past, maybe they placed a curse on the land. The racers learn of it during their stay in town and think the plant zombies are from the curse.

>>
morning bump
>>

Who are part of the circus before Loki takes over?
>>
>>88574580
Don't know yet.

I was thinking whichever ones have been drawn dressed as Batman villains with Godzilla as Batman fighting them.

Maybe they're shooting a Batman movie with an all kaiju cast.

>>88577388
Also don't know yet.

Aside from Jojo from Jojo's circus, no one has been pitched yet.

Though the circus' original ringleader is supposed to be secretly a big time drug smuggler and thus a target for Punisher.
>>
>>88578679
Stromboli from Pinocchio could be part of the circus if not the original ringmaster, and The Coachman was suggested a long ago for part 7 (and was briefly considered for part 5)
>>
>>88579859
Do we want The Coachman to be the ringleader who Punisher kills?
>>
>>88580043
well, both him and Stromboli were the bosses of their respective business (pleasure island and the puppet show, respectively), whoever fits better the role of a circus ringmaster.
>>
>>88580189
Well, between the two, The Coachman is the one who got no comeuppance at all.

So the fat smug bastard is a perfect target.

>>
>>88581736
Pym gets his stand much, much sooner than the hijacking.

The hijacking takes place on the way to South America for phase 3 of the race.

Pym eats a stand jawbreaker on the way to Fantastic Island for phase 2 of the race.

Why don't we just have both of the fat bastards get killed?

We could have Fat Tony be involved with their drug trafficking at well.
>>
>>88581890
>Pym eats a stand jawbreaker on the way to Fantastic Island for phase 2 of the race
That's what I was talking about, he unconsciously use his Stand while it's developing

Maybe the Coachman sides with Loki when he takes over the circus
>>
>>88582226
This post >>88569690, the post I was replying to, is referring to an event that happens well after Pym ate that jawbreaker. He could do that, make a huge insect by accident, but that would be during his FIRST ride on the Iron Vulture.

The original inquiry was if anything else should be happening during the time of Big Guy Nobody's hijacking of the Iron Vulture. That's during the SECOND ride on the Iron Vulture.

As for the Coachman, he probably already had a deal with a demon to get his stand in the first place. If he even still has a stand now.
>>
>>88582450
would the insect be a plain, mindless bug or a sentient one like the flea in France?
>>
>>88583008
It'd say it'd just be a normal bug, no real intelligence, only the basic bug instincts.

The one in France was already sapient (there's a difference between sentient and sapient) before being made bigger.
>>
>>88568323
Let's say it officially begins at 2:12PM

The time limit expires at 5:12PM.

Kaiju's get off work at 5PM, takes them a few minutes to start filling into the bar so there's already some in there before the racer's arrive.

>Fat Tony involved
>and the two fatasses from pinocchio
Oh crap, the thicc mafia

yeah, but the fat mafia doesn't sound better

>>88587394
Looks like Hades is doing a shitty job to keep the denizens of hell in line
>>
>>88589686
They're not all part of the same group, they're just trade partners. Calling them part of the same mafia is going too far.

And Hades is doing a well enough job seeing how the Earth isn't a roasted hellscape dominated by beasts unimaginable.

Just as the Red Guy wasn't able to keep a leash on every demon (Hades was able to do mostly his own things under him), Hades can't keep a leash on every demon.
Plus, Loki probably hasn't been back to hell since Hades took charge. We could work that in as a loophole that demons who were on Earth when the regime changed at the end of part 5 are in sort of a limbo, we already have the ground work for that set up in part 6 with the former demonic WB employees that were stuck in [Pure imagination].

As soon as those demons get banished, their asses are going on the firer by Hades command, and they know it. So Loki is trying to follow up on any plans the Red Guy had in motion at his time of banishment, he's doing this to gain power to challenge Hades for the king of hell position.
Just so happened Loki was part of the "take over the USA" plan by getting a demon puppet elected as president.
Didn't really work out for him, but hey, he's still not banished so he still has a shot with the other plans.

Killinger could've been dispatched by Hades to make sure Loki wouldn't get elected.
Or not.
Killinger is an enigma.
>>
>>88583098
When does Pym fully manifest his Stand? maybe he notices that bugs are growing around himself seemingly at random before he gets a grip of his Stand's ability

>>88589985
add Nemesis to the list of demons that are still around
>>
>>88591273
Nemesis is an independent.
He's not directly interfering in the affairs of mortals like Loki is, he's doing that indirectly, which is playing by the rules heaven and hell seem to use in this setting.
>>
that encounter between Tom and Chameleon in CN City will be detailed or he is getting his ass kicked off-screen?
>>
>>88593849
I'm thinking off screen. It ends with Tom walking out of the bar to dump the Chameleon in the alleyway or something, then go play with his kids.

Actually, no, Tom calls up Strickland to come check this guy he just beat up and that's when Aunt May's poisoned cookie stand thing takes him out.
>>
>>88593915
did we decided who were going to be his kids?
>>
>>88593978
We have not. They don't play a role, so maybe we just have him give Strickland a call and he ends it with he's busy today and needs to go pick up his kids from school, that's why he needs them to come take care of this for him.

We could have them in a crowd shot later as the Iron Vulture docks in the city.
>>
Aunt May's Stand is long ranged, maybe she doesn't eliminate Chameleon personally and just sends her Stand to poison him, that way we keep Aunt May's involvement with Nobody hidden for the time being
>>
>>88595567
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
We never see the relation between her and the stand that keeps taking people out until late in the story.

Also, last bump from me before bed.

wait, if there is an all-out brawl before arriving to CN City, does that mean that Dick Dastardly won't be laying any traps?

>>88595699
a minor detail but the Stand could resemble one of spider-man's hands in its base form
>>
>>88596978
Well, hell is still pretty bad.
It's just no longer pork 24/7.
It's more classical with Hades running the place.

>>88599688
That'd be a nice touch/callback.

>>88600773
Dick could've prepared something, then gone back to antagonize the racers to guide them directly into his trap.

And sure, it can resemble one of Spider-man's hands.
>>
>>88594287
maybe after what happens in Aberdale, Strickland remains in the sidelines trying to fix the problems caused by the racers' passing, like containing the undead dogs in the desert.

>It's just no longer pork 24/7
that's bad news for the nameless food-priest, he's gonna be crushed

And the food priest will adapt after a few decades/centuries.

>If he even still has a stand now
just in case, here is the Stand that is in the doc:

>The Coachman (Pinocchio)
>「Bad Boys」
>Appearance: A humanoid donkey with brown fur, a black streak of hair on his head, green bandanna around his next, and a raggedy shirt and pants.
>Abilities: When this stand is without a owner and touches someone, accidental or not, that person than "owns" the stand. This stand can be harmed by the user, which more or less forces them into line and to do what they may not want to do. They may only leave their owner if the owner permits them to leave or die.
>「Bad Boys」has excelling digging powers, and can rip through the Earth with ease. His digging prowess can be weakened but shared should a group of animals be nearby.

i left out the suggested role part since is pretty much outdated
>>
This has probably been asked, but how much of /co/ is allowed in on this bizarre adventure? Does it matter how obscure they are or what format they're in?

What I'm basically asking is if we've given Strong Bad a stand yet
>>
>>88605384
Well, part 8's protagonist is gonna be Homestar, and I think there was a suggestion for him in part 8
>>
>>88604090
Not sure how useful a stand stealing ability would be, but if he was a WB debt collector, then it makes sense.
>>
when will we first showcase the Wizard in action? in France or earlier?

>>88606429
actually, that Stand was made before he was suggested for part 5, he was first going to be a minion of Nobody that was searching for the Wishing Star/Superman's corpse
>>
>>88382023
>Chris-chan is cornered during his second encounter with the protagonists
>He gets pummeled and the effect of his Stand weakens causing nearby fusions made by him to destabilize (maybe fully undone)
>Is revealed that he is also a fusion, his real form being a more accurate Chris-chan, as opposed to his idealized image in his comics
>In his desperation, 「Weird Science」 reacts to his self-preservation instinct and fire its fusion ray at his opponent
>Whoever was fighting Chris-chan barely dodges the attack. Chris disappears leaving no traces, everyone believes he died in a failed kamikaze attack
>「Weird Science」's ray actually managed to struck an aardvark/anteater/tapir character, transforming Chris into Mark the Tapir
>He joins the Church of Gaming under that identity, taking advantage of the fact that no one can recognize him now with his new form
>The Church teach him how to consciously control 「Weird Science」's fusion power

That reminds me that Gladstone Gander was discussed as a potential character forever ago, but I don't think anything came of it.
>>
>>88610449
yeah, along with Howard the Duck to fill the spot of the duck in part 7, but it seems that said place is pretty much covered by the Wizard.

Also
>Rockerduck also has a passion for collecting. Besides his valuable coins and stamp collection, he is also the owner of an extensive art collection, including artifacts created from antiquity through to the 20th century. Since Scrooge also has collections of the same theme and similar value, many of their confrontations center on them trying to obtain a new addition to their collections.

could be that he became a sponsor of the race to boost his collection?
>>

Yes, France for the Wizard. That's when his dissatisfaction begins to boil over.

>>88610449

Are we going to use the idea of Crazy Jane developing multiple Stands/personalities with each corpse part?

>>88611429
and Wander is already the Pocoloco surrogate
>>
>>88612013
It won't come into play until Rio.
>>
>>88612373
yeah i know, that's why I have some qualms about it since there would be a smaller span to develop the concept: Rio itself, the trip through the Amazon and the Caribbean, and Cape Suzette (depending on how long will take for Nobody to announce the final stage)
>>
>>88612495
Once we get to Rio I feel we'll probably be totally exhausted by then.

With Crazy Jane, she's supposed to have a stand that has a personality of its own that can "swap places" with her personality, blurring the lines between stand and stand user.
>>
>>88612756
That section is described as "corpse part collecting season" in the doc, maybe she becomes an arc villain of sorts once she allies with Nobody, gaining a new personality with each part she hunts down. Meanwhile, Mean Angel would be a secondary antagonist.
>>
>>88613867
Mean Angel would be a target.
>>
>>88615126
Mean Angel is supposed to be hunting the Corpse parts for his own gain after acquiring the Skull, he could get killed after encountering Crazy Jane or when trying to get the parts from Pym and Hex
>>
>>88615318
Would that be during or after Rio?
>>
>>88616584
Is too soon to asseverate, but I think after Rio, because at that point all corpse parts will be in possession of a racer or the Dada party

>>

Probably focused on wherever the missing jar was taken to.
>>
>>88623568
Which is being carried by Clarence, Sumo and Jeff, right?
>>
>>88623604
Yes, they have the jar, but Haddock swallows the contents before running off to fight the monster.

The Beast is unaware of this and continues to go after the jar.

Haddock should drunkenly use a combination of his stand and the high amount of alcohol in his blood to beat The Beast.
Maybe the only reason why he has a stand is because of the liver.
>>
>>88623865
>Maybe the only reason why he has a stand is because of the liver
That's what it says on the doc right now

I was thinking that either Clarence took the urn by accident, leaving his doll behind, or Sumo stole it after the Beast threatened the town. Whatever it is, they keep the urn as leverage against the Beast since they think is a sort of phylactery.
>>
>>88624254
Yes, we're just reiterating ourselves over and over again at this point.

We just have to write it out already.
>>
>>88625585
On it, I'll just skip the initial conversation
>The scene shifts to the three standing before the entrance of a dark tunnel
>Jeff: Cool, did you find this by yourself?
>Clarence: yes, I found this place the other day while chasing a ferret, and there is something amazing at the end of it
>Sumo: a dead body?
>Clarence: Maybe, it’s a surprise
>Sumo: What are we waiting for? Let’s go inside!
>The three enter the seemingly endless tunnel
>Jeff: We should had brought a flashlight
>Clarence: Fret not because (he reaches into his backpack and produces a flashlight) I have one
>Jeff: Oh, well done Claren…
>Clarence takes something else from inside his backpack, a battered doll, “and I also brought Lil’ Buddy with me, he’s going to be the fourth archeologist”
>Jeff: Sure…let me have that flashlight
>Clarence: Here, take it
>They continue advancing through the tunnel; Jeff takes a moment to look at the carvings in the walls
>Jeff: Interesting, this must be some sort of indian burial mound
>Clarence: Actually, me and Lil’ Buddy were thinking that this was built by ancient aliens
>Jeff: Ridiculous, there is no such thing as ancient aliens. The people from the past were fully capable of build something like this
>Sumo: Hey, I like Clarence’s version better
>Jeff: What? but...
>Clarence: and what if the people from the past were aliens? like Attila the Fun or Beetcoven…
>Jeff: First, you got both names wrong and second, that's pure nonsense, there is no such thing as ancient…
>Clarence: Hey look, we arrived!
>Sumo: “Let’s see those dead aliens” both run toward the room in front of them, leaving Jeff behind
>Jeff: …aliens *sighs*
>They arrive to a small chamber covered in roots and vines with ten stone altars, each of them with a plain urn on top.

>Sumo: Hey, what’s inside those vases?
>Jeff: Didn’t you hear me? I just told you…
>Clarence: I dunno, it smells like old jerky
>Sumo: “Let’s crack open one of these and find out!” he rushes toward one of the altars to grab the urn on top
>Jeff: What? No! Stop right there!
>Sumo freezes right before touching the urn
>Jeff: Show some respect, Sumo. We are here to observe and take notes, not vandalism. Don’t touch anything, ok?
>Sumo: *groan* ok
>Clarence: Sure thing
>Jeff: “Let’s take a look at that mural” he takes a step and then immediately turns again to the boys “Don’t touch…wait, where is Clarence?”
> Cut to a close-up of one of the jars, behind it, Clarence’s head slowly rises with a mischievous smile on his fat face
>Clarence is recreating the idol scene in Indiana Jones with one of the urns and his lil’ buddy while humming the theme song of the movie
>Jeff: Clarence! What are you doing!?
>His scream startles Clarence, making him knock over the urn and cracking it
>Clarence: Lil’ Buddy just wanted to be an archeologist too
>Jeff: An archeologist doesn’t break the artifacts he is supposed to study!
>The room is shaken by a sudden tremor
>Jeff: What was that?
>Clarence: That was an earthquake, Jeff, an archeologist should know (Jeff just glares at him)
>???: Ah, so much has passed since the last time someone tried to disrupt the peace around here. You humans have grown bold; just look how close you were from stealing my precious relics
>Clarence: that didn’t happen the last time…
>Jeff: You didn’t tampered with the urns the last time , right?
>Clarence: aye
>>
>>88627169
>???: Alas, I’m not interested in seeing your next attempt to take away my nourishment. It’s about time I finish this long-overdue task of removing the pests that roam my realm
>Clarence: I don’t like the sound of that
>Sumo: Who’s there? Show yourself!
>???: Who I am? Well, I have been given many names by the mortals across the countless eras, but I grow quite fond of the last one: The Beast
>Sumo: Well, I won’t say it a third time, show yourself ‘beast’!
>Beast: “Showing myself? But I’m already here! And here! And here! I’M EVERYWHERE!” The Beast’s voice came from all the corners of the room and from the tunnel behind them
>Sumo: I’m not afraid of your lame trick, come out and fight!
>Beast: “As you wish. Come, wayward souls…” The vines in the walls bulge and shake as if they were alive, the roots in the altars further coiled around the urns, forming cocoons
>Jeff: Guys, I think we should start run
>The beast’s disembodied voice started to sing in an ancient, unknown language, and the tremors intensified, debris falling from the roof
>Jeff: He’s gonna bury us! Run!
>They make their way to the tunnel. In his hurry, Clarence grabs his lil’ Buddy (or so he thinks) and puts it in his backpack
>Just as they leave the chamber, Jeff manages to catch a glimpse of a horned silhouette rising from the ground, spreading his arms as if he was the conductor of an orchestra.
>The Beast’s chant resonates across the tunnel as the three kids run for their lives. Roots burst from the walls; unearthing skeletons tangled on them, the tunnel now looked like the throat of an unholy monstrosity trying to swallow the intruders.
>They were about to reach the entrance when the roots started to grow over the entrance
>Clarence: He’s going to seal the exit!
>Sumo: “No he won’t” Sumo leaps like a frenzied animal and starts gnawing the roots, carving an exit for them
>>
>>88627420
>The kids managed to escape from the tunnel, the roots behind them quickly grew back, and the last thing they see before they cover the entrance is two eerie lights staring at them
>Clarence: Alright, Jeff, you were right, that wasn't an alien
>Jeff: Not now, Clarence. We have to warn everybody about this!
>Sumo: Good luck finding someone in the town that believes our story
>Clarence: at least we are safe, right Lil’ Buddy?
>Clarence takes a look inside his backpack and is shocked when he finds the cracked urn instead of his doll
>Clarence: No! Lil’ Buddy! I must have left him behind and took this stupid urn by mistake
>Jeff: Quickly, toss it back through the roots!
>Sumo: Wait, no. You heard that freak down there; he is bent on wiping the town. Let’s keep it
>Jeff: You are looking to anger him even more?
>Sumo: He was quite attached to these stupid jars, maybe they are his weak spot
>Clarence: So, what you are saying is…
> Sumo: As long as we have this, the Beast will have to think twice before harming us
>Jeff: I don’t think he will be intimidated that easily, and he looks pretty tough
>Sumo: He is just one; if he really wants to fight we have the entire town on our side
>They notice a commotion at the distance. The racers finally arrived to Aberdale
>Sumo: or even more

So, Punisher's ability only warps faces or will also affect nouns and verbs as was suggested in the previous thread?
>>
Oh, right, there was something I wanted to bring up.

For Shocker, another limitation I wanted to add to his ability is in order for him to switch places with something he's touched, he must repeat something he said when he touched that object, something unique to that object, or at least it being the only object in range which he said a particular phrase while in contact with.

With his car, he shouts "Don't mock the Shocker!" at some point while driving it. When he switches places with it he repeats that.

The number of objects he can switch places with is limited only to what's within 50m of his person that he's made contact with and said a unique phrase while holding.

So if he were to hold a pencil and say "this is a pencil" that would be good enough to repeat and switch places with it.

I wanted to add this limitation so that Pym or Hex have a way to actually capture him. They have to to gag him so he can say anything until he's in a jail cell, far enough from anything he may have touched so that he can't switch places with them.

I was thinking that Tulio's regimen could have got a hold on the dormant atomic super men and experimented on them, turned them into hulking abominations for his army, like pic related. Or it could happen in part 8, with the scientists of the Church of Gaming adding them to their ranks.
>>
>>88633632
I think Tulio might have some pillarmen in his ranks.

Mode-less pillarmen.

Strange mutated atomic supermen might be better left to part 8 to show the corruptible nature of the cult.
>>

Were there any survivors after Kuzco suck them dry of their Cels? They could be some of those uplifted animals that the Pillarmen used as mooks, or the test subjects of Yzma's experiments.
>>
>>88634076
We never got too into how many of the pillarmen were left after Kuzco's feeding frenzy.

Kronk survived since he was allied with the heroes, Wong survived since he wasn't there.
Other pillarmen could've not been there during the time of the awakening and came back to the old kingdom after they heard word that Kuzco was gone. There could've been a secret pillarman war that went on in the shadows for decades with no one the wise, not even Kronk knew about it, all of them mode-less. The skull might've been involved, like if you stare into its empty sockets long enough you can see a way to obtain a new power.
