If you can probably guess I've been thinking about FX and Foxtel all day. Now here's a snippet from Wikipedia.

In terms of her relationship to Foxtel, I’m sort of enjoying the idea of them having an ongoing affair, especially during her time as a double agent. Though that doesn’t have to be cannon, that’s just my perverted mind getting in the way.

I found out this neat fact from Du Mont's history. Did you know many of the original shows that it created were destroyed just to get the miniscule silver that was within the tapes? Many of the tapes were also thrown into the East River.

Dumont had to destroy his life's work just for easy cash and see the rest of his work be thrown away like trash.

Poor guy, no wonder Fox is a lush.

Fox has his reasons. He literally seen all his hard work go down the drain and his talent used by assholes that got rid of him as fast as they could once they were done with him.

Now Fox creates pisspoor/bottom of the barrel shows and cartoons, just because he understands that it ultimately means nothing in the grand scheme of things and low brow entertainment is what the people ultimately want.
