Hope everyone had a baller day today! My day was amazing and I decided to reward my cognition students with trays of brownies and an industrial sized container of coffee.
For those of you wanting an update on the SNyder comics, they ARE being worked on, with half of the links up on MEGA (or they should be). When I get home you'll get the complete link for Morrison and Miller. Snyder may extract when you download the issues but it is still incomplete (but for those of you wanting to go ahead and start I'll give you the opportunity).

Shit forgot the pic. Looks like Smallville is going to present it's unique take on Paradise Island.

>I decided to reward my cognition students with trays of brownies and an industrial sized container of coffee.
That's pretty cool of you. Did you save any for us?
>>88302440
I actually did lol but my neighbors ate them. If for some reason we ever end up together you better believe I'd bring you guys brownies and coffee..

Why does Wondy look like Lois?

I'm actually really fine with this Wonder Woman's costume. The only reason why is because it is an elseworld version which is why I'm giving it slack.
This is beyond cute. Bet it scares the shit out of Lois though.
Go Wondy!!!
>>88302035
Thanks for the update, please let us know when its done
Never a day off.
This Supes is easily one of the best versions ever to grace the DC Universe. No challenge too mighty. No feat too small. Clark is a Bro in the truest sense of the word.
>Garrick?
Is that a reference to JSA Jay? I didn't know Clark ever met him, or it could just be a coincidence.
>>88303394Titans He did saw a JSA portrait in absolute justice

seriously? the last arc with Bart? am i taking crazy pills here?
i believe 2 arcs ago, bart and clark went to Jay for help in identifying the black racer.
Steve a cutie.
Also has anyone tested out any of the Miller links or Snyder links?
>>88303904
No, that happened. OP is just forgetting
>Pig skin.
Diana you're one of a kind.
Having Steve visit the island so early really adds to his and Diana's dynamic. Way more personal than it's sometimes portrayed.
>>88303904
You're not wrong lol. I have no idea how I spaced on Jay. I've been watching Smallville and literally just finished Absolute Justice so I kept thinking back to whether or not I saw him in that episode. Yeah...I remember Garrick. The lazy mutherfucker that decided to let Bart face the Black Racer alone and subsequently meet his end. Garrick can fuck off.
I'm having a cuteness overload here.
The second Diana mentioned General Lane Lois developed resting bitch face. I wonder if that was an intentional move on the artist or if that was just a happy accident.

JUST GIVE US THE TRUNKS GOD DAMMIT! GIVE US THE TRUNK!
>That pose.
Little on the nose BQM.
I adore the colors as well as the texture of the suit itself (looks like fabric). I would say this suit is better than the New52 suit and on the same level as current DadSupes.
Weird Superman Style QUestion:
1. How do you prefer the logo? Classic Red and Yellow or some variation (Kingdom Come)?
>I'm a sucker for Fleischer Superman (his appearance in New Frontier).
2. What's your favorite Superman costume?
>Although I'm a fan of the retro logo, the standard Superman appearance is always a winnder in my book.
http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel_dc/images/4/41/Adventures_of_Superman_Vol_1_623_Textless.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20131030204554
3. How do you feel about short capes (All-Star Superman)?
>I need more short cape Superman in my life. Stylistiically, it always made sense to have the cape a little short as it minimizes the liklihood of tripping over it or someone using it as a means to throw you.
>>88304497
1. classic red and yellow
2. favorite suit: classic. baby blue, yellow belt with the circle clamp.
3. i like cape down to the ankles. short cape like ASS is too short for my likinng. anything past the ankles i feel is overkill
This pairing of characters is genius. I feel like any lesser writer would have buckled at having to write Hank Henshaw and Tess Mercer having a heart to heart but BQM sticks the landing and then some.
>>88304615
How about a cape an inch below the back of the knees?
>>88304741
Otis you too good for him.
>>88304497
1. I like the Superbro shit from Truth arc.
2. Superbro armor suit and Superbro shirt and jeans.
3. I dont like, my Superman would be capeless or use a different design of cape (like a howl or something)
>>88305108
>1. I like the Superbro shit from Truth arc.
Nice taste.
>2. Superbro armor suit and Superbro shirt and jeans.
Shirt and Jeans is sexy as hell. The New52 shirt greatly ranged across artists.
>3. I dont like, my Superman would be capeless or use a different design of cape (like a howl or something)
I may not completely agree but I totally get the feeling.
I never knew Wondy was an inventor. Also FUCK YEAH!!!!
Clark you cheeky bastard.
I love Tess filling in for Chloe. A very very suitable replacement. Most of all a LOGICAL replacement. Other writers take note: that is how you successfully have a character transfer roles without dropping the ball. Tess went from stone cold SexyLexy 2.0 to an an fiercely complex A.I. character that is capable of alternating warm and vengeful at the drop of a hat.

I prefer the idea of Superman being low profile and has to hide his identity, not so much of being an icon and more of doing the right thing.
Tried to make him more jovial and gave him a scarf kamen rideresque.
I wish I could draw to make a better design though.

Outside of Grant Morrison's portrayal of Superman (DC 1000000 and All Star Superman), is Smallville Supes the most powerful version of Clark in all media?
>List of Known Feats
>Running speed is elevated to near teleportation like powers.
>Clark can literally punch someone into the stratosphere.
>Clark pushed the incoming planet Apocalypse out of orbit singlehandedly.
>Near instantaneous healing factor when exposed to yellow sun.

God dammit I always forget about Reeve. List of insane abilities.
>Wall Building Vision
>Memory Altering Kisses
>Able to spin around the Earth over and over until eventually time-traveling.
>Can throw his SHIELD to capture his foes.
I feel like a pariah for saying this but I'm not a fan of Reeve. I liked Superman 2 but even that movie had it's share of faults. I find that Daly/Newbern Supes is my favorite TV/Movie Portrayals.
Watching the Smallville finale meow and I don't know what to think. For something that I supposedly dislike with great intensity I can't help but go back and keep rewatching. It does so many things terribly while achieving so many others. MAJOR SPOILERSS!!!>Positives
Clark finally learns how to fly!
Clark overcomes Darkseid!
Lex returns!
Clark and Lois confirmed for endgame!
Oliver and Chloe get a happy ending!
>Negatives
Welling didn't appear in the suit. This is the single most inexcusable sin the show ever committed. I've heard multiple theories for why this occurred. Some said it was because the show was ultimately more about Clark than Superman. Others say it was because Welling got too fat for the role.
Darkseid did not receive a physical manifestation and instead possess Lionel.
LEX MURDERED TESS!
That Lex and Clark final speech. Poetic as fuck and masterfully performed. Rosenbaum was gone for years and he stepped back into the role like a well worn suit.
>What?
Clark pushed planet Apocalypse out of orbit singlehandedly. I know Clark is strong but god damn.
Frankenstein Lex was creepy as shit
What was up with his creepy ass hand? Even the Smallville artists remembered that detail.
Why did everyone run out of the chuch just because Chloe told them to? I feel like there should have been more questioning.
Darkseid exploded into birds...Clark flew through him and he exploded....
Lionel was dripping tar when possessed.
All of Lex's memories were robbed from him by Tess and her mind erasing face lotion. I don't even feel like this was necessary. I feel like Clark and Lex have gotten to a point in there relationship where Lex wouldn't have ever revealed Clark's identity because it wouldn't have been sporting and if he wanted to beat Clark he would want to beat Clark at his best.
>>88306374Fuck, that last negative should have been in the positive column.

I know. I squealed when I saw it too and had to re read because I thought it wasn't real. Nobody would "actually" write a story about Superman saving a girl's stuffed bear....and then BAM! There this story is.
And thus concludes the 6th daily Smallville thread! However, because it's the weekend I feel like posting another thread so here are your options.
>Option 1
I post two very good comics by Joe Casey. The first is Codeflesh and the second is Nixon's Pals.
>Option 2
I post a thread filled with Rick and Morty comics or post the first volume of Scott Pilgrim (COlor Edition).
>OPtion 3
I post a bunch of really good SPider-Man comics.
>OPtion 4
Here are but a few folders I have in my comic book archive (Bendis, Ellis, Hickman, Fraction, Millar, Moore, MOrrison, Kot, Templesmith). Choose a folder and I'll pick a story and attempt to storytime to completion
IF I have a preference, I would pick option 1 or 3. I love Joe Casey and have some really good Spidey stories picked out.
If peeps are going to stay up though, I'll call it quits here and wish you guys a wonderful day tomorrow/today.
>>88304673
hmmm, idk. gotta stay with the ankle.
>>88307414
>I post a thread filled with Rick and Morty comics
Actually been meaning to read those, but since you love Joe Casey and went through the effort to pick Spider-Man stories out, I'd say either 1 or 3

Adventures of Superman thread here:
>>88268840
Several Anons have story-timed three of the distinct chapter stories from the Adventures of Superman (2013-2014) digital first - which was all one shot stories by a large collection of writers and artist, some of whom had never worked for DC or worked on Superfamily or JSA/JLA type books. There are three stories, the first started by one Anon (OP) that is by Joe Keatinge with a whole mess of artists, finished by a second Anon, and then we had another story, a collaboration between Bryan J. L. Glass and Michael Avon Oeming posted earlier today, and I just added a Ron Marz (Emerald Twilight) story featuring art by Evan "Doc" Shaner.
Please check them out.

I love Joe Casey and I assume you started a Spidey thread.
