It's by the creator of Oban Star Racers and features character designs by Joel Jurion, if I recall correctly.

To give you a sort of frame of reference, it took Oban 10 years to get made because no one wanted to fund an action cartoon with a female lead.
So, how long do you think it'll take for the french answer to Berserk's Golden Age arc to get funded in this day and age? Sadly, I'm gonna guess it's gonna be a long while yet, anon.
