All of our disagreement revolves around Pyrrha's last moments - you think that her conviction was true to the very end, saying that she chose her death, but I see a much more conflicted victim, who tries to be brave but in those last gasps, shows how unwilling and regretful she is.

That's basically it and the crux of our disagreement. You think Pyrrha would just rashly act the exact same way if she was resurrected, while I point out her entire character in Vol 3 was unstable and uncommitted. She was torn between Jaune and duty.

Then you say that she "made her choice", and I respond that sure, she made a choice... when everything was going to hell. Her complexion was clearly regretful when the arrow was in her, she was just a naive 17 year-old, caught up in fantasies of brave heroism in a world that was clearly not like the fairy tales her mother told her.

My thing with Pyrrha is that I always saw her as a girl who's spent her whole life having other people tell her what to do and how to live. She may not have liked it, but it's the only life she knew. Given the choice between Jaune and "duty," she picked duty because everyone was telling her she was destined to be the great hero and save the day, even if she really didn't want to be.

When she asked Cinder if she believed in destiny, the real question was "did it have to end this way for me?"

Given a second chance, there's no telling if a Pyrrha who's experienced death would cast "destiny" aside or keep going with the flow.

Well, you have to realize that most people don't really sink in the idea that they're going to die until it happens to them.

Ruby, Yang, Weiss, could look be brave but in the end, when that arrow is in their chest and they know 100% they're going to die, there obviously would be some regrets especially if they died losing.

Pretty much anyone who would have died like Pyrrha did would have had their beliefs shaken or changed. Possibly even more so than Pyrrha.

We just don't know so claiming that Pyrrha would be the best one is not sound at all.

Also I know other networks are more protective of their content while RT enjoys the hype and validation that reactors provide, so that's part of it.

The same way that it's validating for the creators to watch their own content being appreciated, it's also validating for fans to see that other people get emotional over the same things that they do.

While Sun is still around, I consider him to be the better example of dead air because I don't think they'll do too much with him. I think he'll just be around to be someone who has conversations with Blake, to bounce exposition off of before he leaves the plot for whatever reason. Sure, his reason for leaving might have importance to it, but I'm doubtful that event, and what leads up to it, will take too much time to cover.

As for his team, I really think that Blake's brief line about them being below deck is the only think we'll get for them for a few volumes. Like I said, it looks clear to me they were added only to give Sun a team, but they didn't actually have anything in mind for them, just look at the fight with NDGO. The Weiss/Neptune thing was likely only there because Weiss had nothing to do during the prom, so they just stuck in one of Sun's random teammates; it could have either been Sage or Scarlet and there would have been no any changes to the script.

Honestly, the general mainly hated Neptune because there were still a ton of WR shippers back then. Some also due to the "self-insertyness" but we all know the real reason and that was waifu-ism.

And then it only got worse, when Octavian, in a desperate attempt to keep his reputation, latched onto him.

Soon it just became fun to hate the guy as he was a clear and easy target for shitting on M&K's writing. Especially with his and Jaune's scene.

Iceberg is honestly not that offensive a ship and at least has shown Weiss' "development" as a character, that she's become more open and willing to get with a guy she finds atteactive.

No, but that makes her not any stupider than any of them, or the laws that say that's an acceptable method of head protection. Doesn't particularly fit the style of her bike though, seeing as it was a sportbike, and riders of those generally go for the full enclosure type helmets. As for the sun glasses, well, when you have an open face helmet, you need something to act as a windshield for your eyes at the very least.
