This will be the first time in 25 years that we get a non-US actor portraying a main cape film person who is not a US born native. Based on the trailers, her performance in BvS, I see no issue with either her voice or accent.

WWI is an excellent setting/premise, particularly since Captain America - First Avenger was (properly so) set in WWII. One thing that makes it an excellent premise is that WWI was a major and at that time frame, highly significant event that impact the entire world, even if there was no real pacific theater in that conflict, and the lack of the scientific achievements that made WWII on of the first of the modern wars. WWI was far more brutal and deadly. Depending on how they conceive (and the trailers certainly look promising in that regard) the conflict would differentiate it which can only add to the appeal.

I'm a 3rd year film and performance arts major and honestly BvS is the best film made this decade.

The completely lack of appreciation of by it by comedy-pandering critics makes me livid as hell but at the same time, the balls the people behind it have to keep up their good work and release future gems like this more than make it up for it.

I really really wish there was even an entry-level film appreciation course in HS so the general public could manage to appreciate DC's films outside the quippy mindset that Disney has indoctrinated them with and within their own uniqueness and purity of substance.

My counter is that it's a matter of opinions. I find a lot of the MCU themes to be good and memorable. I've been whistling Strange's for the better part of the month, in fact. Specifically the extra funky version that plays during the credits.
