God damn, the action and music were on fucking point this week.

Damn fucking right, this episode proved that this is the best cartoon airing right now.

Thunderbirds Are Go is surprisingly really good. When I first watched it, I was expecting a schlocky remake that just pandered to nostalgia without the charm that the original show had. What I got was a tasteful modernization that appeals to both old fans and newcomers.
Plus that unique mixture of real sets and CG looks fantastic.

yeah, damn show is a joy. Shame the 'murricans can only get it on Amazon Prime.
>Kayo finally got her own complete boarding sequence
Now all we need is the FAB 1. I know we got those glamour shots recently but I want there to be a full sequence set to the usual music consisting of Parker putting on driving gloves, brushing some dog hair out the back seat, then slowly opening a simple garage door and driving out.

So whats everyone's favourite thing about the remake?
Mine is that John is actually a fleshed out character, rather than being an unknown prisoner on Thunderbird 5. His relationship with Alan is pretty cute too.

Thunderbirds other than 1 and 2 actually get to do stuff.

The Tracy's (And Kayo and EOS) all being bros together and the lack of bullshit tension.
Also, EOS.

This. Everyone is 100% in line, nobody's pride fucks everyone over, and they genuinely feel like a well-oiled team of people who like each other.

I really appreciate the lengths they go to keep this a show about rescues. Even when coming up against the Mechanic or the Hood, the Tracys' focus is always on saving people, and that fact alone makes it one of the most unique action/adventure shows out there right now.
Also, I love the modular pods system and the T2's mobile factory.

The only thing keeping me from this show is that the eyes on the cg people look real creepy.
>>87964430
It's on purpose.
>>87964468
Personally I like the way that they sometimes make the CG look like the puppet show with the foreshortening and focus tricks.
The episode where Parker gave Alan driving lessons and guested Sylvia Anderson even had shots of real hands flipping switches in reference to the original.
And TV-21? Well I smiled.
