Not the same anon, but i think it would be difficult due to the setting. The whole thing is heavily set in japan's culture, so while there are jokes that anyone can relate to, part of it might end up being either lost in translation or people wouldn't understand it (or in a worst case scenario go full "eat your hamburgers apollo").

Of course i'm probably unconsciously exaggerating it a bit, but you get the idea.
