>love an animated Flash cartoon in the early 2000s

What's its name, /co/?

I dunno, there's a lot of charm to it. My friends and I still quote it too much.

The song is still pretty good but the animation is awful.I can't watch this without thinking of the orgy version
Perfect Kirby

this was made in the early flash days when it was very limited . It was a time where crude animations were more acceptable because flash animation was still new. Even if an animation wasn't very good you can still appreciate the effort it took considering how inexperienced animators were back then.
Despite the bad art, edginess and cliche story and terrible sound, this still got some love

Yeah, me too.
Me too.
Every single animutation.

I showed this to a girl years ago for some reason. Even then they didn't know what the fuck to do.

I give up, how did THESE age well where the others didn't?

>one catered to humor only middleschoolers or niche audience found funny
>one catered to humor that normies of all ages would find funny
>>87823090
I always hated the end of the world one because the guy was trying so badly to imitate Group-X and it just didn't work. Make up your own style, dude.
>>87822750
damn i completely forgot about those I used to quote them a lot to my sister
>>87823027
That song is still really catchy.
It's about a blow-up crocodile.
>>87822931
Perfect Kirby was the shit
>>87822131
I watched a ton of SMBZ when i was in elementary school
it's cringe as shit nowadays but the animation is actually pretty high end in the later episodes/remake
>College University
It's not as terrible as I feared. Still not great.

Also recently revisitedFrank's Adventure.It wasn't very good.
>>87825297
Wow, I haven't seen this in years.
Reminder that this is never coming.
>>87825361
It's really a shame that Leslie Nielsen's last role will never see the light of day because of a horrendously poorly managed animation team.
>>87825361
Neither is this
>>87822131
Homestar RunnerHAHAHA Nah i'm kidding Homestar is still solid gold

Correct.

How about no?

By the gods that's a friggen blast from the past.
>>87822131
I thought I was the only one.
>>87826351
Homestar is one of the only early 2000s flash cartoons to stand the test of time and I still don't know what black magic the Brothers Chaps used to make that happen.

>AIM door opening/closing noises
Really early Eddsworld. It's interesting to see how much better Edd got at drawing/animating through the years, and then he suddenly died
https://youtu.be/_v-G5VfN5bY
The Waterman series eventually got better but it's impossible to watch the first one and not cringe nowadays.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeJlKQb3kTM
>horrid animation (talking animation is just mouths flapping)
>shitty attempt at Family Guy cutaway gag humor
>literally every cutaway gag uses somebody else's character/property for a cheap joke
Everytime i bring up Minuishi, no one seems to recognize it. It makes you think you might have been the only person who watched it.

>Gaahynt Sympathahyzers
Didn't they only release the conclusion on DVD? So the only resolution you get is the General dies if you don't pay 20 bucks?

Fuck you, the Colin Vs. Jesus trilogy is pure Kino.

I love that Colin Mochrie actually met Neil Cicierega and shaped his career over these things.

I've never heard of it. What is it about?

Literally no reason Ark couldn't just leave the room.

Wait what? I recall watching a somewhat decent but anticlimatic conclusion on newgrounds or maybe there website.

Jerry Jackson vids still good.
>>87822131
Xombie was such a huge fucking deal for me. It had a little forum with a decent writing/flare based RPG section.I met my ex-fiance there too
Looking back on it its pretty horribly animated and a bit cringe, but I remember shitting my pants in excitement every time an episode landed.
The worst thing is these kinds of projects made me think anyone had the chance to make art.

I ain't care. These still have a special place in my heart. I would have never dared show it to anyone who didn't grow up with these/saw them as they came out though. They're pretty firmly stuck in that time period.
>>87822655
Fuck you. This was great.
>>87822655
I like how it features Batman using a gun.
>>87827789
>I've never heard of it. What is it about?
If memory serves me right, it takes place in a world where there these giants robots walking around and the military is going against. The main character's (girl in the pic) brother gets drafted and has this journey to find him. Has a sclubby friend tagging along and they're stalked by this pale trench coat wearing motherfucker.
Even back then, i thought it was okay, nothing super special. Reminds me of that Dirge zombie guy flash thing where the writing is honestly trying but it's just not quite there.
Pretty much all of them.
>>87822571
Goddamn, this is nostalgic. And shit, unfortunately.
>>87827927
>I want to touch you, Jake.
>...You may.
Every fucking time, even now, 12 years later, it still kills me.
>>87826660
I think the minimalist character designs with few moving parts help. Also the animation and art DID gradually get better.
>be 16 y/o virgin
>think this is somewhat realistic and hot
>suddenly 2016
>be 28 y/o non-virgin
>cringe at how stupid this is
>>87829071
How did I know exactly what that would be before I clicked it?
>>87823027
I still love animutations. They sum up what early internet entertainment was and seeing all the low res gifs and images that used to be everywhere are a treat.
