So I got rid of all the link to the finale if no one minds, I figured they were cluttering up the OP and have been up there long enough, having the m3u8 link there makes more sense when everyone's asking for it

I also used a server back home to stream the m3u8 link on VLC and transcode it into an mp4 file, problem is the audio is a little bit ahead of the video, so you can either adjust it in VLC or wait for rwbyg.club to work again

Personally Vol. 3 made me step off from the wagon. Dunno if it was the same with others. Here's basically how the heirarchy works out as best as folks can see.

Monty's main bread and butter is fights and the overall "background" of the world. He supposedly had information for about 20 volumes worth of content, but nothing really fleshed out beyond worldbuilding.

because of this he mainly relegated the actual writing and scripting and producing of the show to Miles, Kerry and Gray respectively. His prime focus was animating and making cool fights and designs.

The problem is both him and shane had a tendency to repeatedly pull a "hey wouldn't' this be cool if?" bullshit and forcibly insert random scenes into the show that the M/K/G had to work around (since originally it was Monty's baby)

Stuff like Penny's reveal and raven's reveal were all Monty's "fuck you imma do this" moments despite protests by M&K. Shane kinda went over this in his letter that he felt Monty worked better and the show was better because of that, despite the fact also admitting that up to his death, they didn't use pre-production methods, storyboarding or pathing out future volumes at all. Leading to the production issues we saw in previous volumes.

Miles at least, had cut his teeth on some writing previously, but outside of maybe stuff in school, all of Kerry's previous credits were in like, editing and stuff. Things he did on V1 before they hired dedicated editors/compositors. I don't know if Monty intended it to be kind of this production which basically grows as its staff grows, but that's sure as hell what it's turned into. God knows what it'll be like in say, another four years.
