I remember Stefan Hutchison (the guy who wrote the last batch of Halloween comics) mentioning that Devil's Due kept suggesting/pressuring him to do a crossover with Hack/Slash.

He really didn't want to, but came up with a story anyway in case they made him. Something about how it wouldn't have been the "real" Michael, but the result of someone in the Hack/Slash Universe (where he's fictional) using occultism to try and bring him to life, because Hutchison really wanted the Halloween comics to remain separate.

At the last moment, he also discovered that he could do a little of omnipotence spiral power at the cost of his soul.

So I am pretty sure that he can take him, on any way.

* Abnormal strength, enough to smash through walls and doors, crush heads, lift and throw around adults, etc.
* Abnormal durability, enough to shrug off or be only momentarily downed by stabbings, axings, shootings, hangings, being hit by vehicles, falling from great heights, electrocution, etc.
* A possible healing factor, given that he was shot in the eyes in II, but can see fine in subsequent films, among other things.
