I think there was a fan picture put together from the bits and pieces with seen of each of them. Hell, in Rita's case we saw her face but with her eyes covered in the flu episode and when she was fantasising about a spa.

If you took all the random shots of their facial features partially covered, especially in the april fool's episode where they basically show their entire faces, you could reconstruct it accurately. It was kind of pointless that they hid the parents in the first place.

In fact the whole idea of "get married out of highschool" is something that started largely with the 1940s and the post-WWII era when GIs came back and married as much as possible and kids getting out of highschool followed their example.

Statistics I've read show that for most of recorded American history the average age of marriage for men was 25 and women was 22, with women having their first kids in their mid-20s on average. The baby boom saw the average age of marriage drop by 4-5 years with babies following soon after.

Obviously the current state of people getting married at 28 and kids at 30 isn't really the norm, but it also isn't abnormal looking at pre-baby boom American demographic history.
