My ability is limited by how many variables I have. I could be completely unstoppable, or pretty much worthless.

For example, if you warp into another reality, I can just decrease the variable controlling that realities stability, causing it to collapse on you. I only have a way of actually getting there or affecting your dimension if I have true/false variables controlling various aspects of reality.

If powers are just a true/false variable, I can take away your powers and give myself literally every power ever to exist Granted the paradox warper could probably do all of this anyway as his ability is much more forgiving in terms of limitations. If all I can control is my basic stats, I can become strong, but I'll be torn apart by the paradox warper.

Well since I already know what my power is I think that means that my body got wrecked and now I'm just a disembodied mind moving from machine to machine, so I'd probably be going through some pretty emotional shit because of that. Reminds me of one of my old D&D character's favorite spells, was a Dimension Door variant where the player transformed into a swarm (murder?) of ravens then re-assembled into human (elven, actually) form at the desired destination.

Was actually global-ranged, if it was someplace ravens could realistically physically reach (no obstructions, weather limitations) and you didn't mind being out of service for the time it would take for ravens to fly cross-country. And if the birds died you did too. Benefits were, the spell was lower-level than Dimension Door to allow for its limitations.

Thats probably how I'd play this. Start out as a short-range teleporter. Maybe expand out into other transformational options with training
