From what I heard, the corporate grip went stronger and stronger, choking creativity within the studio itself. Recent situation with Greenblatt is yet another proof
You grew up
They cancelled Harvey Beaks for no reason

I'm am 100% certain adults said the same thing of the time of Nick you love the most

Nothing they're just not showing your children cartoons anymore.
I don't know about you but I sort of like Alvin.
The designs are creepy AF, though.

No, the economy changed. The "You grew up" fallacy only works when people us the "cartoons then/now" argument and even then it only sounds valid to people who don't know how the tv industry actually works. It is no secret that the internet basically gutted all animation networks of their core demographic, children, with video games as a helping hand.

this is right
kids would rather watch youtube than cable
any time i hear from parents about what their kids are watching, it's minecraft or toy videos or let's players or something like that
never "spongebob" or "loud house"
i mean there must still be kids out there watching because surely it's not all manchildren like us, but the ratings are definitely down and will only continue to trend downward
