Agreed, if they could slow down the pacing on the dialogue this show could be fairly good, perhaps even television good if they tightened up the writing. I think the thing I enjoy the most is that Vambry and Prohias both have moments of clarity and idiocy. I fully expected them to go "stupid brother smart sister" with the show, but they both seem to be on the same level with that stuff. Not to mention that the both of them are fairly passionate about doing their job as fighters, keeps things fresh when they have enthusiasm.

Its weird actually, the show shares a lot of shit with adventure time, with the goofy kingdom themeing, video game references, slang thrown in rather liberally, but for some reason I don't hate it like I hate adventure time, and I can't quite explain why.

Witchy was pretty cute

Vambre is hot.

I hope it acquires lore and a plot.

This show is nostalgic as fuck. It reminds me of when I was twelve, and would spend my afternoons on flashplayer.com, watching ~six minute cartoons and playing flash games. It would not honestly surprise me to learn that Legendary Frog was involved with the show.

Honestly, the pacing is fine. If they tone it down, most of the jokes, dialog and so on won't work. Not to mention that the show will lose its, lets say, uniqueness, style.

As it is now, it's fast, random, easy to watch, very nostalgically cartoony and full with enjoyable characters.

It's perfect as it is.

is no one gonna mention how bad the animation is... i dont hate the show, i actually kinda like it, but the animation is what really keeps me from loving it. once that improves, and for the love of god the pacing just needs to be a LITTLE slower... it could be a really great show. i hope that the team working on it will try to improve the show, but we all pretty much know that this obnoxiously fast paced shit is what kids gobble up since ttg is more popular than fucking spongebob

The fast pace makes it easy to ignore the animation quality since nothing stays on the screen for very long anyways. Sure it would be great if they could improve but right now the two flaws manage to keep each other in check.

I wouldn't worry about the pacing if the first season seems off to you... even Billy & Mandy's early shorts (the ones that aired as Grim & Evil) were really, really rough compared to what came later too. I'd argue TTG greatly improved after its first season too.
