So, I keep seeing Marvel use this Rotten Tomatoes "Certified Fresh" seal on their Doctor Strange promos.
I can't remember seeing something like this before. Why do you think they did this? Do they desperately need to convince people that it's not a bad movie, or were they just throwing shade at the Distinguished Competitor for releasing two "Rotten" movies this year?
It' a common practice, actually.
Case in point.

Because some people are still tricked into the "Rotten Tomatoes says its good so it must be good" meme

I remember at a certain point The Paranormal Activity movies and other shitty horror movies used tweets in the commercials because they didn't have quotes to pull from reviews
They've been doing this with a bunch of movies lately. They're trying to catch-up to the internet era.

I've seen where the pull the word "good" or "riveting" out of context from reviews even if the review said something like "this movie is not good"
that's pretty common anon

I have a very distinct memory of First Class making a point of it being "Certified Fresh" in a couple ads.

Remember when WB used fake tweets to promote BvS?
Why do you think they did this?

I think I can. Zootopia definitely had one TV spot that mentioned it. It kind of sounds like you're trying to push the narrative that there's some unusual association between RT and Marvel, when there's nothing there to go on besides that their movies are well reviewed.

as long as they put the "..." before the word good to show that its part of a longer quote, they're legally ok.
morally fucked though.

They were using real tweets from an alternate dimension where people who use twitter actually have good taste and can recognize kino for what it is.

Stop being a NEET and go outside, OP.
If you go to any store that has DVDs, you'll see that it's now common for them to have a Rotten Tomatoes seal.
