Muted colors is a fair point but it's brighter in the WW solo movie. Armor design is very cool and very close to what WW actually wears in the comics.

Actually, clean shaven and short haired Momoa actually looks very good. I wouldn't mind if they went in that direction in a future DCEU movie. But let's be real, he also heavily resembles 90's-era Aquaman so it's not like they're just pulling things out of their asses. The Polynesian look is a little different and I'm not sure how they'll tie that into Aquaman's origins as an Atlantean but it looks pretty damn good and it's an interesting way to work in the golden scales armor without actually using the golden scales. I honestly think it looks really damn good.
