Fuck everyone's snooty opinions, Mark Millar writes entertaining books
I picked up the Chrononauts TPB for a dime last week and read it in one sitting and it was just delightful
Some are good. Some are insanely awful.
When we trash talk Millar, we think of Unfunnies and Nemesis. Or that with pregnant totally not Aunt May. Not his good shit.

Skipped Unfunnies but read Nemesis as it came out. I don't remember being offended by it. Pretty fun from what I recall.
I need to finish Huck and MPH. Really liking MPH.

Now that he's writing movie pitches instead of edgy crap, his work has become a lot better.

Read Supercrooks? I've read it after MPH and it was nice.
I wish War Heroes would get finished. I think that was the first comic that just up and stopped coming out once i started regularly picking up books again

I know I started it but have no clue if I finished it. I move a lot so for some reason Millar books always get dropped midrun. its probably since I know I can always finish it later all at once and enjoy it more in one sitting rather than wait month to month. I do remember liking it.
Superior, not so much. Not bad though.

Same thing happened with me and Jupiter Legacy. If there wasn't some thread recently here, I'd forget about it existing at all.

Jupiter's Legacy and Starlight for me. I figure the former has a long way to go before it's all finished.
How are the Kick-Ass books? I read the first when it was coming out and thought it was a lot of fun, but have felt zero need to read more.

Nemesis is good. The squeamish nu-males that frequent this board don't like it because it has blood in it.

People swear Kick-Ass is good.

Kick-Ass is good when you treat it solely as exploitation and remember that it's about sociopaths.
