It's so sad that PotC was supposed to be a Monkey Island adaptation and instead it just drew influences from it. The worst part is that since the PotC franchise doesn't seem to be dying away, they would never risk doing a Monkey Island movie cause it would be too similar.

I'd kill for a Monkey Island comic or animated show though.
