The fact that's clear now is that Caliborn belonged in and deserved a story of his own. He had no place in Homestuck save for the fact it had become so decayed and ruined by then that he could still slot in and make some sense. But he was wasted there. It should have been Jack all along. Imagine if this + Bec Noir happened. God I'm already able to draft up an entire better working scenario in my head over it. Hussie has tremendous writing problems with scope and tension. He needs to stick to simple comedy which is his about his pace, and never try for anything serious, ever again.

She also made him seriously listen to Tumblr and he decided to reinvent his personality to appease her. Their mutual friends made it worse than she did later on, though.

The Odd Gentlemen created the Gigapause and prevented the comic from going out with dignity, but it was Hussie's fault to start with for making the game before he finished the comic like he said he would.

It's not that hard to figure out. LE is invincible twice over. The primary source of his indestructibility is the clockwork majyyks, which is what the juju bypassed by way of containing Dave, armed with a cue ball sword. However, LE was also invulnerable to attack because of the Green Sun, and he wouldn't have been destroyed because of that second lifeline had he been rushed with a cue ball sword without the sun being switched off.
