So in like a decade or more from now, what will long-term animation enthusiasts or writers think of Sausage Party? I think people don't like it now but will see it differently in time.
This just got released recently on Blu-Ray
Nobody is going to remember it. It will at best be an "oh yeah, that was a thing"-movie.

it made 135.3 million on a 19million budget so there's that

isn't it an extremely funny movie?
What kind of Foodfight is this?
>>87407594
This. It will be a footnote in animation history, a digression from the trend. The animation industry is so dominated by major studios to such a degree that it will take a real sustained effort and a string of megahits for any of the conglomerates to take a risk on anything other than family films.

>Dude Weed lmao
and
>Mommy, they said a baddie word, so funny
I guess if that's your thing.
It will be discussed until somebody brings up the food orgy, after which people move on to something like "Waltz With Bashir".

There'll be a cult following that claims it's genius, like with any other weird raunchy animated film to ever be released (see Wizards)

More like Waltz with Boredom, amirite?
There'll be people who insist "You just don't get it man." but it'll still mostly be a halfassed stoner comedy that wasn't very funny.

No.
