This however is a legitimate and the films largest complaint. Furious Five have been highly ignored and/or weakened to make way of Po's development.

The series would do well with tv series (yes I know it had one but I didn't like it much; maybe a new on Netflix since most of the Dreamwork Netflix shows are decent).

How do you all feel about erotic CYOA games?

Is Legends of Awesomeness worth watching? I really like this series' world and characters, and I don't mind lighthearted episodic stories with a villain of the week.

The third one was the worst. It had potential, but the villain lacked motivation and passion, and the conflict with the panda village felt like it was setting up for a resolution that would have been way more interesting than what we got.

I loved the first two, then the third one came out and people were mostly talking about it focusing a bit too much on the Panda comedy.

Is it a bad movie or is it simply not a great movie (has noticable flaws and all, but is still an enjoyable experience)?

Shen was great and way above remotely passable.

I liked the second one best. 3rd was worst IMO if only because the 2nd was such a step up and the 3rd fell flat.

The contrast between the beautiful scenery and often excellent fights and the infuriating "modernisms", for lack of a better word, brings the whole thing down.

Visually the most beautiful in the series by far, but overall not as good as the others. The "serious writing" about spirituality and Po's quest of self-discovery is done extremely well, this movie is a perfect ending to Po's character arc. Only problem is that this writing is often split up between many comedy scenes, which aren't as funny as the previous movies. Luckily the movie is paced pretty well, so the moment you get tired of wacky panda shenanigans, more often than not you get a really good character or plot moment right after.

I definitely get the complaints about the climax when Po goes super saiyan and wipes the floor with Kai instead of it being an actual fight and I'll always love more grounded kung fu action scenes, but in the context of the movie/plot/character growth I actually really like it. Po has finally fully discovered who he is, not just as a panda or as the dragon warrior, but everything. Everything comes full circle, from becoming a literal dragon warrior to all the nods to yin-yang and the circular motif of chi that's been throughout the entire series;
Well, that, and it's hard not to love that fucking amazing music.

Funny story, I remember asking my dad about all this and why anyone would take Mao's Little Red Book seriously when it came out, and he shrugged and admitted a couple of his socialist british friends had copies...

First two were great, Tai lung and Shen were great villains. The second one had the best action sequences, the third one was just a bunch of panda shenanigans.
