Honestly, the best part of this game was the year's worth of speculation on /co/. It was fun talking theories, making fan art, and repeating "KILL THE MOUSE, TAKE HIS HOUSE" while imagining Oswald as a total Eldritch Abomination.

Then the game came out and while we had some fun threads for awhile, they were never as fun as when we knew so little about the game or it's story. I don't even remember anyone around here giving a shit by the time the second one came out.

I just wish there was more Oswald outside of these two games.

One of my favorite games. I enjoy how it blends the collectathon style with a Zelda style, though I'll admit it's also very flawed.

I don't see why people expected anything from the concept art. It's Disney, theu wouldn't put Mickey in a game so dark.

I actually prefer the first game a million times better.

The first EM was VERY rough around the edges, I do admit, but you could still feel some love and care was put in the story and the areas. All it needed was a sequel to iron the kinks.

Sadly EM2 not only kept all the mistakes of the first game but added more.

>The entire plot is the most predictable shit ever even for Mickey standards.
>No effort in making each stage more interesting
>The selected areas are way more boring than before. The last world before the final boss is a boring ass broken racetrack.
>AI is beyond retarded and Dual screen chugs framerate and is fucking confusing.
>The few dark elements that the first game managed to keep are fully gone in the sequel. It's even more squeaky clean.
>Less things in the ending change with your actions besides the final boss. Only two bosses and a bunch of the most annoying sidequests ever determine how good is your ending.
>The entire "Your choice has consequences" deal the first game tried to have is completely gone since you can just BUY all the rewards of the paths you didn't chose later. It negates entirely the need of a new game+
>The only one who really sings is the Mad Doctor. The idea of a disney music is wasted with some guy that can barely sing.
>Most of the original plan got cut because of executive meddling and tighter deadline.
>No new forgotten characters, just a bunch of new Gremlins nobody gives a fuck about.

The only decent thing the sequel did was to have some very fitting Voice Acting. Frank Welker was perfect for Oswald, too bad after this we'll never see something with the guy voiced ever again.
