It got a free pass from ratings boards because it was promoting Australian literature, Gleitzman is an award-winning writer.

My country's produced a lot of pretty interesting TV for kids, especially the live-action SF and fantasy shows that starred kid actors. There was so much effort.

I remember this show. It was on channel 9 or ten or something. The female antagonist was a straight up motherfucking bitch with a high pitched accent. She was so evil she even stole their poor dog and used mutagen on it or something

There was this girl who was tiny, and she had adventures in a submersible vehicle along with a seagull and a seal that talked. Main thing of the show was learning about the ocean and shit. It was a cartoon
