IT is a shame that Doctor Doom is not for use by MCU. Doom would be great in the Strange movies. Not as a villain, but a rival/side character that Strange has a love/hate relationship with.

Now we see a bit of a hint of the wider Strange mythos. According to Lee, he didn't base the names of the beings invoked on any mythology, he just made up whatever sounded cool to go with what Ditko had drawn.
