I haven't seen every Dreamworks film but from the ones I have seen, the Madagascar films do them the worst. The second and third movies and the Penguins movie all have a romantic subplot in them. And in all three of those, it's just the guy awkwardly fumbling around the girl until the girl suddenly gives in at the end of the movie. It's as if whoever comes up with these has never been in an actual relationship.

The romance in Mr. Peabody and Sherman is especially disturbing because the kids are supposed to be seven years old.
