Looking to buy a nice hardcover comic that'll take me a while to read through? Know of anything 700+ pageish that's fantasy/sci-fi will even consider DC stuff considering I loved Swamp Thing.
>>87116510
Get the Planetary omnibus.
>Know of anything 700+ pageish
Why so short? Go read Cerebus, it's 6,000+ pages.
It's not in a single hardcover volume, but you wouldn't be able to lift it if it was.
The Geoff Johns Green Lantern omnibus is three, 1200+ page volumes of sci-fi space nonsense.

I remember reading Knightfall like this but I'm having trouble remembering whether it was hardcover or not. You should get it either way. The story is awesome.
>>87116510

It's a comic.
>>87117955
manga, then translated and published in comic format for the western market.
or probably you are thinking of moebius.
>>87118197
No, just that manga = comics.
>>87116539

Fuck off weeb. Manga is comics. Bande dessinee is comics. Just different languages.
Bone is like a thousand pages in its complete collection, and its a nice all-ages adventure that /co/ pretty much agrees is pretty good
87118287
no (You) for (You)
>>87118230
>planetary
>bad
>>87116510
From Hell
>>87118338
I also recommend Bone, it's awesome
>>87116589
Longest rec so far.
>>87118533
Shortest rec. Not even 600 pages. Fucking wew.
Starman?
Death/Reign/Rebirth of Superman
As much Usagi Yojimbo or Claremont Uncanny X-Men as you can get
>>87118533
From Hell was one of the very first comics I bought, not counting floppies I bought as a kid. Christ was that a mistake. I ended up not reading it for ages because it was so unwieldy, and I've never re-read it either. The art doesn't exactly look better on the printed page than digital, either.
>>87116510
Possibly ElfQuest if you can stomach their polyamorous lifestyles and the treehugging sensibilities and the general 70'sness of it all
>>87116510
Jordoverse. Read it
>>87117537
>>The Sandman (2 omnis)
Like, if you haven't read this (and this goes to all of /co/) you've got to check out the first volume.
How is Spawn Dark Ages all?
>>87118952
They're expensive as fuck, at least in the US. Also, not collected into an omni as far as I'm aware.
>>87117710
Stock game weak as shit, paper's way too thin. Binding CAN be nice, but I've seen some truly terrible glue jobs on several of the many rereleases. Gutter loss isn't really a problem.

Torrents my man. Torrents
