Wha would the ideal writer and penciller for a new Legion of Super-Heroes book?

Hickman.
Doc Shaner (assuming young Superman is in it).
Chris Sprouse (if no young Superman)

Writer: Adam Warren
Penciller: Ed Benes.

honestly I would love to see Tom King write it, but if I had to guess I think its going to be a book that has rotating creative teams after every arc.

It's going to be King. He's dropping way too many hints.

He is CIA.
Ben Garrison.
Ben Garrison.

Jim Shooter
Francis Manapul
Parker with Capullo pens

LoSH fighting the Space kikes!

Manapul is the only true answer.

I never knew I wanted this.
I'd like someone like Bagenda for the art, or sort of a silver age retro style, like Shaner or Chiang. The Levitz retroboot stuff had mostly unremarkable art, and Legion needs something to help it stand out.
For writer, literally anyone except Levitz or Waid would be a step up.

>Shaner or Chiang
Make it bimonthly so we can have both.
Seconding Parker for writer

>Parker
I'd be down with that, actually. His Thunderbolts run was top notch, and he seems the type to embrace the COMIC BOOKS attitude.
I think Alina Urusov could be a fitting artist, her style is nice and modern and she's good at making teenagers look their age.

There's only one answer, whether you like it or not.
>>87110512
We /childsoldiersfightingterrorists/ now

But, that's exactly what's happening. You haven't noticed the slow build up to the Legion? It's been a bit of a thing. Johns is in charge of the whole show now, and he loves the Legion.
Seriously, you ever read his run? Dawnstar is his waifu.

Let me know when he's officially attached to an ongoing.

Trust me anon, I feel you.
>gotta wait two years
I'm gonna be mad if the pay off to the Rebirth storyline isn't worth it. I'd even be content with them essentially hijacking the plot like they did in Lemire's JLU. That was the best part of that slog of a run.
Honestly. I'd just put Jeff Moy on art again. Yeah, he suffers from sameface, but at least he can actually draw convincing teenagers.
