The three men look like the same person at different stages of his life.

The problem with making your 3 main chars pretty much the same or at least similar enough so that they never have to explain anything to each other, is that WE, the readers aren't given an introduction into whatever world these girls live in and we can't take part of world's lore as the story unfolds. At least not in this issue

This is pretty much why you often have some down-to-earth char or outsider char or simply chars with different backgrounds or approaches to living in general so that some exposition is naturally given to us when the cast deals with something or another.

Nothing of the sort is happening here and to me, that is the main book's weakness.

The witches know each other (and for a long time it seems) and they know their shit and no one questions anything or needs to explain anything.
