I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were throwing darts at a board from the very beginning but less talented writers began doing it and that's why it's so noticeable now.

I like it as the televised equivalent of fast food, and in that regard I'd argue that it's still good for that purpose.

You're right with the Conway Twitty but there were still good eps around then too. Now it's pretty unwatchable.

I think it's still pretty good. It definitely got low, mainly around season 9 to about 13, but its has a resurgance since, mainly helped by Mcfarlane coming back from his movie career.

this t bh, people say they dislike it because it's popular to because it got picked up by a mainstream audience. There definitely are dips at certain seasons, so I wouldn't be surpised if people judged it by when they stopped watching and say it's bad without even watching where it's currently at.
