I really didn't think Daredevil's armored costume was that bad.

For one, it made sense that a non-powered street level character would use some body armor.

Second, I'll note its not too dissimilar to the body armor that the netflix Daredevil ended up sporting. Red spandex isn't sufficient.

Its not as 90s-cringe as folks let on at the time. But I do admit to disliking the knee pads as too easily breaking up the shape of the legs.
