So, did they really waste one of the biggest comic events (Flashpoint) in one fucking shitty episode?
>>86846639
So, they've banged.
>>86846639
Technically it's still not over. Barry thought the timeline was fixed but it's still apparently fucked somehow.
>>86846639
Well, at least Flashpoint had one good adaptation.
>>86846639
That's more chemistry than Barry and Iris have had in 2 seasons.
Flashpoint wasn't as good as people seem to think it is. It was just a hideously bloated way for them to hard reboot the DCU.
>>86846639
>one of the biggest comic events (Flashpoint)
>>86846715
See, that's what confuses me. As Grant Gustin and Candice Patton, they seem to get along great and have fantastic chemistry, but as Barry Allen and Iris West, there's barely anything there.
>>86846701
>fucked somehow
>Iris is not talking to Joe anymore.
WOW its fucking nothing. She could at least be dead.
>Did they really get over one of the worst comic stories ever published in just one episode?
Correct, OP, and we're thankful it was over quickly.
>itt deecee elitists prove that started reading funnybooks in the dark knight trilogy era.
Flashpoint was shit and is everything wrong with modern DC.
>>86846639
Yes, they burned through one of the worst Flash comic events in one episode, because it is, was, and always will be terrible.
>>86846639
>in one fucking shitty episode?
Did you miss the part in where Iris was pissed at her dad and that Reverse Flash knew about it?
Clearly is not over, is just that we are not going to get the whole new reality like in the comics
>(((Flashpoint)))
>>86846639
CW tends to waste A LOT of things anon. If you haven't noticed already, this Barry kind of fucking sucks
>>86846662
We're still not sure if Grants gay or not.
>>86846706
>Centered around the flash
>Batman is larger on the poster
>>86846787
>>86846753
It was just a shoddy way to keep the "will they or won't they?" between Barry and Iris going for another season because CW writers don't know how to write relationships without resorting to petty drama born from miscommunication.
Am I the only one that thought Iris looked even hotter than she usually does in that episode?
>>86846639
No, they wasted Flashpoint in one shitty episode.
>>86846823
That isn't just CW writers, it's TV writers in general, because back in the 1980s Honeymooners finally had Bruce Willis and Cybill Sheppard get together after seasons worth of will they/won't they dancing around and it killed the show, and ever since everyone has always avoided any kind of romantic conclusion.
I don't think you could ask anyone on this site to name a bigger DC fag than me, but even I know Flashpoint isn't great.
>>86846807
Only in my dreams Anon, only in my dreams.
So, did they really waste one of the biggest comic events in one fucking shitty movie?
Yes because the arrowverse is fucking plebverse and nobody fucking gives a shit about it's flashpoint if there's no Thomas Wayne batman.
Tfw no iris gf
>>86847024
>isn't that great
And you pretend to know about DC? It's one of the worst things they've published.
>>86847071
How to spot a pleb: He reads Azzarello.
>>86847133
You're beyond delusional.
>>86847051
top qt
>>86847150
>How to spot a pleb:he watches CW flash
Fixed that typo for you.
>>86846639
>So, did they really waste one episode one of the shittiest comic events (Flashpoint)?
Fixed that for ya.
>>86847017
Moonlighting. It was called Moonlighting.
>>86847133
It was cool until Nu52 happened and then came a decade of me hating Barry for ruining L.E.G.I.O.N. right before Lobo put on a red power ring(which would have been the superior way to end the fucking multiverse)
Have they said anything about plans to give lobo his nads back yet?
Flashpoint wasn't "one of the biggest comic events". It was literally just filler that they threw a reboot into the last 3 pages. Johns didn't even get to do the story he actually had planned.
That being said I haven't watched this show since the last couple of episodes of S2 so don't take this as a defense of their execution. Just pointing out that you don't understand proper context here.
>>86846810
WB marketing has strict orders that Batman must be present in EVERYTHING.
Batman MUST be.
Batman WILL be.
>>86846787
>Did you miss the part in where Iris was pissed at her dad
omg she has daddy issues now, what an exciting big change!!
>>86846639
So what if they did?
>>86847166
Good argument.
>>86847185
I don't. Azarello is still plebeian.
>>86846753
It's not the only change. The stuff with Alchemy was also caused by Flashpoint.
>>86846787
>Did you miss the part in where Iris was pissed at her dad and that Reverse Flash knew about it?
HOLY SHIT
OH GOD
THE HORROR
How could the writers do this, it's so fucking sick and twisted, so much better than the shitty tame original comic!!!!!!
>>86846807
He's got a gf
>>86846787
Isn't that basically the New 52 though? After Flashpoint was undone in the comics reality wasn't restored to how it was before, but tweaked.
>I need you to kill my mother.
BULL.
FUCKING.
SHIT.
Was that Mirror Master at the end talking to/about Alchemy?
I don't remember who Alchemy is I just saw a mirror being fucked with and though of Mirror Master.
>>86847241
Well duh. Batman is by far the most popular and successful superhero of all time. No one else comes even remotely close.
>>86846753
>>86847251
>>86847335
You retarded motherfuckers do realize that it's not that in itself that's the cause of alarm, but the fact that it's a sign that Barry still fucked up a few things in this new universe, right?
Wait out the next few episodes to see that some things have changed.
>>86847368
I think Alchemy is Tom Felton isn't he? That wan't him in the scene so I dunno.
>>86847395
MOM'S GONNA FREAK
SHE'S NOT TALKING TO JOE
>>86846749
I'm sure it's the fault of the direction.
>>86847409
I'm just hoping to see Mirror Master made threatening.
So much potential there.
>>86847051>tfw im not cuddling with caitlin and patty
>>86846753
Also, Cisco's in grief counselling for some reason.
And there's an upcoming episode titled "Killer Frost".
And whatever Barry did fucked up the timeline so bad Jay Garrick has to get involved.
>>86846639
First things first, Flashpoint is NOT a good event comic. It was supposed to be a gimmicky event to force feed then DC fans into liking Barry. WB changed things and it only made people hate Barry further, Johns threw entire WATCHMEN under bus to clear Barry's name.
>>86847368
I thought that was Rival (or at least his non-powered version from this new reality).
>>86847368
That was Doctor Alchemy.
Tho Mirror Master and Top will appear this season as part of the New Rogues.
>>86847241
I'd like to watch Batman v Nighwing
>>86846639
>oh noes, they compressed everything into an episode! I'm angry!
>Oh noes they decompressed it into a whole season! I'm angry!
There's no winning with you, is there /co/?
>>86847863
...A couple of episodes?
Moron.
>>86847661
It probably would be a porn film.
>>86846739
Didn't say the best, said the biggest you fucknut.
>Caring about Flashpoint
>>86848085
>What is Infinite Crisis
>>86846807
He could be Bi, we don't know
>>86846807
He's straight.
John Wesley Shipp is the gay one.
>>86846823
Except it has already been said there'll be no drama between Barry and Iris this season.
>>86846662
>>86846807
They're both straight, and Grant is attracted to her, but she's very clearly not attracted to him.
This was one of the biggest problems with Flash from the beginning: Iris is a fairly poor actress who has good personal chemistry with the actor who played Eddie but zero with Grant.
This is why her scenes with Eddie make her look like a good actress (when in actuality she's not faking) and the ones with Grant make her look terrible (she can't muster enough fake love to avoid looking bored and annoyed)
Fuck off casual Flashpoint is awful.
You can tell when you think "big" means good
>>86846706
Jesus Christ. Imagine a buff ass dude running like that towards you.
>>86846706
that movie was better than the actual event. a much more condensed story
>>86849112
>This again
I love "The Flash", but its threads attract the weirdest people.
>>86848146
What is Crisis on Infite Earths, you mean
>>86847207
Fuck, how did I screw that up?
>>86849112
what the fuck
>>86847378
CoughSPIDYBITCH/endcough
But otherwise ya totally agree
>>86849062
