I remember it getting a weird overarching plot for like 3 episodes. But once the art changed it somehow got worse. Pretty fun for a saturday cartoon for someone without cable

My favorite instance of that was What's New Scooby-Doo had a flashback to their childhood and it used the Pup Named Scooby-Doo designs.
