>At DC’s Young Animal panel presentation for New York Comic Con, Gerard Way revealed that he wrote a new song that accompanies his upcoming comic as part of the imprint, called “Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye.”
>At the end of the panel, the moderator announced that attendees of the panel would exclusively get their hands on a cassette tape featuring the new song, which is titled “Into the Cave We Wander.” Of course, Way has a long history producing music, as he gained international recognition as part of the band My Chemical Romance, and later in his own right as a solo artist.
>Way noted the song comes from a fake ’70s documentary, that will be touched on in the comic, about Cave Carson’s life.
I have an almighty need.

>Way said he’ll release more songs that tie into the line sometime next year. As for getting your hands on “Into the Cave We Wander” if you weren’t at the panel — Way noted that the song will eventually release “in some form” to the general public.
We "Music from Earth-0" again, just like the Black Canary EP.
How do we get this attention-seeking dilettante out of our industry
>cassette tape
Fuck I hate hipster ass shit like that what's even the point

oh come on, what's wrong with a cassette?
even if you put aside the fact that it's clearly part of the gimmick, there's nothing wrong with putting something out on an outdated medium.

It was Cassette Store Day.

The Black Canary EP was so fucking good, I can't believe such a throwaway tie-in was actually quite enjoyable. Better than it had any right to be, for sure.

Pretty cool.

It helps that Brendan Fletcher had a background in music before coming into comics. The same with Gerard, in a way.

When the first trade came out, so did this EP of songs featured in the comic. The plan was to release one song a month alongside each issue, but they weren't able to do so and thus the EP was a compromise.

That's not bad at all
I dig it, that'd be cool if they used it on Arrow this year
>Some tie-in song
>Never a mention of Tom Scioli's Super Powers back-up
>The only reason that I'm even interested in this book in the first place.
Scioli is a real nigga. Transformers vs GI Joe was pretty cool, for its flaws. I have high expectations for Super Powers.
