The Quartet. In 2006 Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Geoff Johns, and Mark Waid, all at the peak of their abilities collaborated on 52, one of the definitive series of that decade.
What happened?
Johns and Morrison are doing alright, Johns has finally gotten some kind of control over the madness with the DC Cinematic universe, and Morrison is doing great with his vanity projects but....
Rucka has lot it, and Waid is Alan Moore levels of bitter over his time at DC. Neither are putting out the quality that they used to. What do you think happened, /co/?

And the reason Morrison is doing vanity stuff is that Johns and his "crew" took control of DC and Johns doesnt like to share. Johns hasnt done a good book since aquaman, and that was a stretch.
