Probably Ike wanted something similar to Avengers 1 with lots of quips because he thought it would sell better, rather than the darker movie Joss said he had in mind from the time Avengers 1 was released to much, much later in the process.

the more I watch this movie, the more I like it
frankly, only thing that bogs me is creation of Vision (where Thor appears out of nowhere) and Vision-with-Mjolnir scene immediately afterwards.
Also I don't like Black Widow taken to castle and rescued like a little princess.
Otherwise it's a good movie. We already had Skynet, Matrix and thousands other movies where machine decides to end life on Earth so Ultron underdevelopement don't bother me so much.
Hulk-BW romance also didn't. It's understandable that people working together with so much stress would build a close relationship and those two fit perfectly because they are alone in life. And at the end this plot got nowhere because Banner was too scared.

And I am hyped for Dr. Strange.

I thought it looked like absolute shit from the first footage shown.

My main problem with it is Thor should be the guy who is seriously going to make a speech like that and finish it, not go "lol I was just stalling bruh". If he would've actually gone through the whole thing and said he would stand and fight as long as he was able I would've been beyond stoked but Whedon threw out a great moment for Thor to make a joke.

Maybe it's because I don't visit /co/ as much as I did back then, but I don't see this kinda stuff anymore. Did AoU kill the superhero movie pre-release hype? Did BvS? Civil War? Was it the sheer amount of announced movies that made us burned out?
Or is it just me who got tired of it all?
