I feel bad for him. He's an artist whose own character spiraled so far out of his control that it became a phenomenon and a controversy, and he's not making a dime off of it while the actual source of the character remains in obscurity.
Although the good thing is the meme Pepe seen everywhere isn't using the official colors of the character.
I have hope that one day it will all be okay.

It's still using the character's name though. If it were just "meme frog" or something then there would be no issue because the meme version of Pepe looks nothing like the real version.

It is just one fucking face. The Internet has latched onto thousands of similarly small things. The origin becomes irrelevant.
Fuck /pol/ and the alt-right for stealing Pepe. He is an innocent frog.
Eh. He should be happy that something of his took off and planted itself into the history of the internet.
No matter how bad people can spin it being a hate symbol or whatever, it's out there and should be proud. That's what I think anyway.

Fuck off faggot.
But you're right Pepe is too innocent. Brett should've been the one to reach meme status.
I prefer Andy and Landwolf.

/pol/'s Pepe is good for his longevity by creating this controversy hopefully it scares away the normies from using him and he'll forever be our guy.

As long as we can all agree that Brett is the worst.

I doubt the rightwing kiddies actually care enough to try to compensate Furie in some way. Then again they were dumb enough to get scammed by Milo.

Pretty sure he is, I mean he does interviews for artsy stuff and has art shows regularly. I follow his tumblr and he seems to have a good sense of humor about it all- when you think about it it's all ridiculous.
I'm just glad pepe became ours again desu, he was never /pol/'s and still isn't. He belongs to all of our hearts.
