Guys please help me find the name of this semi-old animated cartoon or movie ( from the 90's or late 80's). I kind of remember the plot; the ships talked and if the ships were dirty (maybe by some petroleum spill) they went into coma until someone cleaned them (i think this was the basic plot), after that i think the main characters (2 or 3 kids and a ship) evaded a dangerous waterfall.
Doing research i found "Theodore Tugboat" (left) and "Tugs" (right) and they both seem familiar to me, even thought they weren't aired in my country (Mexico). I tried to find if those series had an animated movie, but the only thing i found was the lower section of pic related (which also look dangerously familiar) .

If that's the basic plot, then it's not Tugs. Tugs was about the Star Fleet performing various tugging operations. Never seen Theodore Tugboat, so I don't know if that's it.

Wait, no wait. My bad. I used "cartoon or movie" because i see cartoon (and other people too) as a regular episode of 20 to 22 minutes, and "movie" -well- as a full length film

You could try Salty's Lighthouse. I heard that show had used some stuff from Tugs, so it could be that.
